"Bad experience"

It was honestly... the worst CNY buffet experience for food and service.
1. Driver was lost and does not understand English. We had to video call him and send him pictures of the location. It was a heated discussion.
2. No decoration at all. ... More Initially the driver only brought up 2 square tables for 8 dishes. He pushed everything together and we had to ask him to bring up extra tables. There was no cloth to cover the tables but only plastic. My relatives complained that it looked like a funeral setup. This was quite disappointing. We didn't had enough time to do any decoration on our end.
3. Not sure how early were the food prepared but the pork rib started tasting sour within the first 10 minutes after setup. All the food were no longer hot. The ice in the almond jelly dessert were all melted so it tasted like water with bits in it. One of the guests found a piece of plastic that wasn't the cling wrap, so I'm guessing it was accidentally dropped into during food preparation. The ngoh hiang didn't had a sweet sauce to go with.

I wouldn't recommend having your buffet catered by Lixin ( a group by House of catering) and I will not order from them again, unfortunately.
