1. With the exception of Watermelon Sago, the other dishes were just edible to fill stomach. Pretty ordinary. No wow factor in terms of taste. Majority of my relatives either had no comment or said it’s so so only.
But judging from the fact that ... More we had to throw 1.5 tubs of Watermelon Sago (caterer provided 2 tubs), spoke for itself that most of the guests didn’t bother to sample it.
2. No table plastic was provided. Plastic cutlery, paper tissue styrofoam plates provided was insufficient, Had to rush back home & ran back to function room to get our own extras.
3. Some portions of White radish strips in Prosperity Bao Pian Yu Sheng tasted a bit sour.... we discarded the uneaten balance. Luckily we had prepared amply our own separate Abalone Yu Sheng. Hmmm, by the way, no disposable chopsticks provided for this complimentary dish. Maybe it’s free, so we were not provided disposable chopsticks. LOL.
4. Food portion rather small; like meant for 15 pax (& not 25 pax which I ordered). Had we not prepared a huge pot of our own dishes (ginger vinegar pig trotter, some steam yam cake & “Lu Tan” in dark sauce) with lots of cut fruits to supplement, the portion of cateted food would not be enough to go around.
5. Overall, it’s average food quality. small serving portions & insufficient disposable cutlery & serviette provided.
Recommendation: Won’t order again from this caterer.
