The Christmas buffet setup by BellyGood was very impressive, adding an ambience of joyful Christmas ... Delivery and was timely. Good value for 14 dishes at discounted price of $16 per pax.

1. I ordered for 36 people and paid $808.80. Per pax is $20.80 with $60 delivery charges. To all my guests horror, the food is only enough for about 15 people with only 1 table with 6 medium-size warmers.

I wished I have taken photos of the food ... More catered, as I was busy in other matters. Those guests who come 1 hour later have nothing to eat! Those who have eaten said they were not full and did not take all of the 9 types of food as they were worried that the food may not be enough for others.

2. In our past year orders with other caterers, we were always served with 2 tables, big warmers with generous servings and more than enough for 36 people (usually it is 36 + 10% more).

3. By comparison, past caterers served us 3 big sets of Prosperity Yu Sheng with better taste. Jiale served us only 2 sets and its taste is quite bland.

The Eu Fu noodle by Jiale is so watery and so little - enough only for 15 people. Most of us took only a few strands of it. The mushroom must be so little until most of us can't find it.

We also find so little sea cucumber in the braised duck with sea-cucumber catered by Jiale.

The Xiao Bai Cai with mushroom by Jiale is so starchy. There is no mushroom, but few pieces of carrots and corn.

The Pi Pa Beancurd - Jiale's signature dish is so oily and ugly looking and has no taste of beancurd.

The Fa Cai Deluxe Platter looks pathetic on a miserable metal plate. 12 small pieces of scallop, 12 pieces of ngoh hiang and 12 small pieces of fried po piah - enough for only 12 people!

The Yam with Ginko nuts is so starchy.

Only 1 dish is good - the Eight Treasure Chicken.

overall grading: Totally unsatisfactory. The worst food catered for our CNY! Of course I got lots of scolding and criticism from my family members and relatives - spoil my day ...
