Ordered the $23.90 mini buffet menu based on the good reviews. I was told by the contact person that the food items are cooked and delivered from the restaurant directly.
The disposable cutleries etc was in a reusable bag with Lexin branding on it ... More .
Presentation of the dishes were good. However, of the 8 items, only the soup item (Buddha Jump Over the Wall) is delivered hot. The rest of the items are not even warm (feels like it was cooked at least an hour before delivering over). I have only tried the soup dishes from Lao Huo Tang before and it is still good so far. The pandan chicken and steamed prawns (though on dry side) is still quite tasty even when cold. Food portion is on small side for sweet and sour fish, and prawn rolls may taste better if they are crispier.
Messaged the contact person right after checking the food items and feedback they are cold and there is no response at all. :(

Dinner is delivered to my doorstep before 3:30p and expires by 6:30p. Good that it has option for no chilli, no fried food and no fish with bones. Food however is on the salty side for me and they replaced an assam prawn dish with a chicken dish for ... More one of the days. Value for money for 5d trial at $62 for 2pax.

Food arrived 30min ahead of stated time. Fried kway teow tasted awesome though on the oily side and it will be even nicer if caterer can be more generous with the seafood. Softshell crab with pork floss is another commendable dish. Big and crispy ... More without the oiliness. Chilli crab sauce for the sauteed prawn is on the nutty side. Nonya style baked chicken is flavourful (spicy) but a little too salty for most of my guests. Portion is on the small side too. Soon kuehs tasted pretty good. Hong Siew tofu portion and Vietnamese spring rolls is pretty normal. Caterer can be more generous with the mixed cocktail for the agar agar (3 small pcs) in each cup. Overall happy with this order.

Due to festive season, the food arrived only an hour after the requested time. It was extremely challenging to reach the customer service as the line is always busy. Food was cold by the time we received it but the guests find most dishes pretty ... More tasty still. Prawn was overcooked but the chilli crab sauce is nice. Satay pork cube was deep fried battered pork coated with satay sauce. It will be great if it was not deep fried version. Kung Po chicken was flavourful. Mini soon Kueh skin is pretty thick and did not come with any condiment.

Delivery and customer service is good. Food wise is value for money but not crowd pleaser. Tempura prawn is on the dry side and would prefer it to be stored in warmer. Likewise, it will be nice if ang ku kuehs can be served in steamer for better ... More presentation and texture.
