I've bought Delcie's vegan cakes on a few occasions and never had an issue with the quality. Something must have changed in the recipe or the team behind the bakes since, because not only could I not taste any banana in a banana cake that is proudly ... More stated as being "sandwiched with generous fresh bananas", the cake itself tasted stale, dry and blah. My toddler loves bananas and loves cakes, so this was meant to be her birthday cake. She did not want a bite of it, but I don't blame her for it.

Hands down the best for vegan birthday cakes. Our guests could not tell that it was vegan as the cake was pretty top-notch. The texture of the frosting, cream, and cake itself was great. Love that they used agave syrup too instead of sugar for the ... More baby-friendly cake. The price comes rather high for a cake (easily thrice that of a typical non-vegan cake), but Delcie's is unbeatable for quality vegan bakes.

For someone who doesn't like carbs, the Black Olive Fried Rice was a real standout. Both setup and takedown were swift, breezy and excellent. What we loved best was that it wasn't a run-of-the-mill buffet catering. They even provided wooden forks ... More and spoons- classy! Our guests were pleasantly impressed with the variety of dishes and the fresh ingredients used in the food. Prior to ordering, Grain's customer service were very happy to let us know which vegetarian dishes are vegan-friendly before we made your choices, so we had a buffet that catered to everyone from vegan to vegetarian to pescatarian to meat-eaters. My only point for improvement would be more leafy greens in the Tossed Farfalle Salad as it was very pasta-heavy. But overall it was a five-star experience.
