In this article, we will be reviewing their 2pax tingkat which consists of two portions of rice, spicy chicken, broccoli with mushroom, scrambled egg, as well as fish ngoh hiang. This tingkat meal is perfect if you are looking for a healthy and yummy meal for your parents or a meal for you and your loved one. Without further ado, let’s move on to the review!
1. Spicy Chicken
The intensity of the chilli plays nicely with the savoury notes of the soy sauce and the lovely flavour from the chicken. They all come together to form an amazing flavour duo of savoury and spicy! The chicken was sooo tender and it pairs perfectly with rice!
2. Broccoli with Mushroom
The broccoli was cooked to perfection, with that subtle crunch. The addition of wolfberries, mushrooms and carrots definitely gave this simple veggie dish an upgrade! I enjoyed the sweetness from the wolfberries and the crunchiness from the carrots.
3. Scrambled Egg
This simple egg dish is the star of the show! I love how they were able to make this dish less basic by adding in different ingredients such as onions, carrots and etc. The eggs were perfectly seasoned and the different textures in the dish made it extra pleasant!
4. Fish Ngoh Hiang
For those who don’t know what fish ngoh hiang is, it’s fish meat blended with spices wrapped with beancurd skin and deep-fried! I’m a huge fan of ngoh hiang and I’m glad that this didn’t disappoint. There was a copious amount of fish in the ngoh hiang. It was juicy, crunchy, and had a crispy outer layer!
