4 Brownie Recipes To Satisfy Your Sweet Cravings (Vegan Recipe Included!)

When you need a sweet treat, brownies do not disappoint. Here are 4 different brownie recipes that you can make - classic chocolate fudge, peanut butter banana, matcha white chocolate and vegan chocolate.

Classic Chocolate Fudge Brownies

First, we’ll start with the most classic flavour - chocolate.

Ingredients:

  • 225g Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • 130g Melted Butter
  • 250g Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 95g All-Purpose Flour
  • 30g Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Line baking tray with parchment paper
  • Chop chocolate into chunks and melt only half of the chocolate. Save the other half for later
  • In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar then beat in the eggs and vanilla for 1-2 minutes, until the mixture becomes fluffy and light in color
  • Whisk in cool melted chocolate and then sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt
  • Fold the mixture in just enough to mix the dry ingredients in and remember not to overmix so that the brownies will not turn so cakey
  • Fold in the chocolate chunks, then transfer the batter to the baking tray
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes then let the brownies cool for another 25-30 minutes

  • 113g White Chocolate
  • 130g Melted Butter

  • 125g All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ Tsp Salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Line baking tray with parchment paper
  • Melt butter and then continue heating the butter until small brown bits start to appear
  • Add white chocolate and matcha powder to a small bowl, then pour the brown butter over the top and stir until all the chocolate melts. Set mixture aside to cool
  • In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt
  • Mix until thick and creamy for about 5-10 minutes
  • While mixing, slowly add in matcha chocolate ganache and continue whisking until a uniform green batter appears
  • Sift flour into the bowl and gently fold the flour into the batter until mixed well
  • Pour batter into baking tray
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes then let the brownies cool for another 25-30 minutes
