As a fan of Indian food, Deepavali is one of my favourite times to indulge in some delicious Indian treat! It may be a quiet Deepavali celebration this year, but who says you can't celebrate and enjoy the festivities to the fullest with your favourite treats. Not sure what to get for Deepavali this year? Samosas

Of course, a Deepavali meal cannot be complete without Samosas! These cute little savoury pastry treats are stuffed with potatoes and peas with spices like fennel seeds, cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala and more. An extremely popular dish during Deepavali, the Kheer is a creamy rice pudding flavoured with cardamom and topped with chopped almonds and cashews. It's simple, but the added texture from the nuts give this dish an elevated layer as the crunchiness from the nuts makes the dish interesting and yummy.
