Delizio Gourmet Full Buffet Review
Delizio Gourmet is a Halal Certified caterer that serves international cuisines and unique experiences that will
awe the guests as they indulge this delights.
Today, I will be reviewing their West Favorites Full Buffet Menu that cost
$18.90/Pax ($20.22 W/GST) with a min. of 30 Pax and consist of
7 Food Items + 1 Drink. There are a couple of dishes that I fancy so that you can give it a try!

1. Chopped Romaine Greens Salad

Let's start with the appetizers! The first thing that caught my eye are the Croutons and the amount of Parmesan Cheese
which finished the salad perfectly. The Romaine Lettuce tasted good as expected with the other ingredients, drizzled with the Creamy
dressing to give an extra punch and flavor to the salad.
The only thing that was lacking was the Cherry Tomatoes. Although, it stated Honey Cherry Tomatoes, I barely could
taste the honey as it tasted like ordinary tomatoes.
Overall, it was still a good appetizer that I am sure is enough to please you especially for those
who loves to eat vegetables.

2. Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Grated Parmigiano
Next up would be their Aglio Olio. Speaking from someone who loves Italian Food, I had high hopes for this dish.
Unfortunately, it looks rather dry than expected and couldn't taste much of the garlic.
However, the bell peppers did compliment the taste well enough despite it not having
any peppery after-taste. Nonetheless, it is still an okay dish, just need to add more
garlic and oil to achieve that perfection!

3. Louisiana Cajun Spiced Boneless Chicken Thigh
I was pleased that they had chicken because who doesn't like meat in general? From a glance, it looked appetizing with the little
chunks of mushroom and may I say that the mini baked potatoes are adorable in size!
The chicken was not too salty for my taste buds and the texture was tender enough for my liking,
soaked with the gravy.
Overall, the dish was alright for me.

4. Sautéed Fish Fillet in Lemon Butter Sauce
Among all the dishes that were displayed before me, I'd say that this was the dish that stood out the most as it was bright yellow.
and it's my favorite one too.
I was really intrigued when I saw there were lemon slices on the fish and knowing me, I assume that there will be
lemon juice added in the butter sauce too as it was stated Lemon Butter Sauce.

To my dismay, looks can be deceiving. I couldn't taste any citrusy part from the butter sauce, just creamy with oil
so that caught me off guard and it was disappointing.
Nonetheless, the fish was good, not too salty and it matched well with the sauce.
I'd imagine pairing the creamy sauce with the Aglio Olio would be delicious as well!

5. Roasted Bratwurst Sausages with Trio Peppers
A dish full of food items that are almost the same color that I can't tell which is the sausage and which is the trio peppers.
I would say that the sausages had gave me the extra kick as it gave a mild-spicy aftertaste
from the black pepper. The onions boosted the flavor well enough.

Overall, the dish brought some spice to my taste buds in a good way.

6. Char Grilled Vegetables Medley with Aromatics
This dish comes with Broccoli, Baked Mini Potatoes, Baby Carrots, Cauliflower and Cherry Tomatoes.
After having the first bite, I'd personally feel that the Broccoli could be boiled instead of pan fried as
was hard and crunchy for my liking. I like to have my Broccolis on the softer side.
That applies to the rest of the other vegetables as well.
Overall, the vegetables do complement the other dishes as the
crunchiness of the vegetables balances out the softer textures of the fish fillet and chicken thigh.

7. Signature All-time Favorite Chocolate crème puff pastry
People always say to save the best for last and the cream puffs did the job.
These mini cream puffs were soft in texture and was loaded with generous amount of
cream. Although I would prefer the cream puffs to be slightly sweeter on my end,
it was a dish that was worth every calorie.

8. Yuzu
The Yuzu beverage did indeed had a citrusy after-taste. However, I find the beverage to be a slightly artificial in flavor
and that it did not have the actual Yuzu sweetness that I was looking for. For a moment, it almost tasted like
Yuzu Water since it was diluted.
There are other beverages including Apple and Orange Juice that you can try besides Yuzu!

With that, that is end of my review for Delizio Gourmet. Overall, I would rate this full buffet menu a 4/5.
The dishes were pretty decent yet delicious in its own way and it was not too salty.
