Hearty Tingkat Meal: Empire Food Catering Blog Review

Chinese Cabbage Chicken Soup
Soup, a staple dish in many household, Chinese Cabbage Chicken Soup is a super yet refreshing soup because of the abundance amount of flavours from various ingredients.
You get all the nutrients you need, from Vitamin A from Carrot to Chicken aiding as an anti-inflammatory property, which can reduce activity in the upper respiratory tract that often causes symptoms associated with a cold.
Mongolian Pork Chop
Who doesnt love some fried food once in awhile? Well, I definitely do! The Mongolian Pork Chop is fried to perfection with the golden crunch on it's exterior and suprisingly, upon bitting into it, the meat is super moist and juicy. I could taste the fragrance of different spices infused together! This is definitely the best to consume it with brown/white rice!
HK Style Beancurd
This dish is also an authetic Chinese dish found in many restaurants.
I would definitely describe this as pillowy soft beancurd bites, becareful of the sauce oozing out upon your first bite though!
Personally, I aint a fan of Beancurd but Empire Food Catering proved me otherwise with this dish.
Stir fry Long Bean with Carrot
Lastly for this set, we have a vegetable dish, Stir fry Long Bean with Carrot, a super delicious yet simple dish.
Literally nothing about this dish can go wrong! This dish is a very popular Chinese recipe and release great flavors from the garlic and soy sauce, keeping the texture of the French beans and carrot intact along with its natural goodness of sweetness and color.
This is a simple dish and a great accompaniment with rice!
Handmade Beancurd w Vegetables
I would say this dish is loaded with lots of vegetables such as Carrot, Corn, Mushroom and Cabbage.
Just take a moment to appreciate the golden yellow beancurd, cooked to the perfect texture and consistency.
The silken tofu is super soft and bouncy on the inside, you can literally taste the burst of flavours when you bite into it...yummy!
Stir Fry Celery with Carrot
Next up, for the vegetable dish, we have Stir Fry Celery with Carrot!
The celery has a crunchy taste to it while absorbing up the esence of the sauce while the carrot gives a strong impact in contributing to the overall sweetness of this dish!
Carrots is very high in Vitamin A, as well as Vitamins B and C, Iron and Calcium. Apples are high in Vitamins and minerals, and are a good source of pectin and antioxidants. Celery has a compound called Phthalide, which can reduce high blood pressure by relaxing the vessels that blood flows through.
Salted Egg Pork Rib King
I would say pork rib has never tasted so good until this asian twist, incorporating salted egg taste together with pork rib, literally the best of both worlds!
Personally, I like salted egg because of the fusion of taste, from spicy to savoury and sweet kind of combination and it is best accompained with rice or else on it owns, it might become a little too gelat after awhile!
4 Pax Tingkat Meal
Bitter Gourd in Black Bean Sauce
This is a traditional stir-fried Bitter Gourd with carrot! The Bitter Gourd still retained its crunchiness despite being stir-fried and the carrot always does its job in enhancing the flavour of the overall dish! Since Bitter Gourd, as the name suggests, is naturally bitter, the sweetness of the carrot helps to neutralize the bitterness so don't have to worry about it being too bitter!
Sweet & Sour Sliced Fish
For our last dish, we have Sweet and Sour Sliced Fish, and this hands down, has to be my favourite dish out of all the dishes!
Whenever someone mentions this dish, the first thing that comes up to my mind is the overall appearance of the dish because of the variety of colour from the bell peppers and onion!
As for the taste, its superb, the fish is well coated with the sweet and sour sauce but on the inside, its super soft and fresh, no fishy taste at all!
Good to pair it with a bowl of rice!
