Personally, I have tried Hock Hoe Heng before and I would say, I am a big fan of their food especially the soup, super soothing to the throat after a long day of work. Moreover, the taste isn't too high in salt or sugar, perfect for consumption for anyone.
This soup is brewed to perfection, the dates and the pork ribs add so much sweetness to the soup, perfect combination when eaten with rice!
