How to Celebrate CNY During Phase 3
Yay! Give yourself a pat on the back because we’re finally moving on to Phase 3 and just in time for Chinese New Year 2021, which means all you young singles out there, you’re still able to collect your ang paos!
If you’re planning to start gathering your friends and family, do remember that we’re still unable to gather in large groups and unable to book multiple tables in a restaurant. However, don’t worry, and don’t let this dampen your festive mood because what if I tell you that you’re still able to meet up with all of your loved ones this CNY?

Bring it down to a more intimate level
If you’re used to booking multiple tables at your favourite restaurant, we all know that it’s quite impossible to do that this year with the risk of getting caught and fined. This year, why not try hosting everyone by inviting them to your home or an approved space instead? This way, you will still be able to host everyone but at a more personal level. How you ask? This brings us to our next point.
Host different groups at staggering timings
By hosting groups of 8 at staggering timings, you’re ensuring ample time to clean up and make sure that your venue is safe and disinfected for the next group. Now, you’re able to host all your friends and families without leaving anyone out! This year is also a perfect time to host if you can’t fulfill the limit of 8 pax in a restaurant, and also let you have a catch-up session with all your loved ones.

Celebrate early!
If hosting everyone during the first 3 days of CNY is impossible for you but the social bird in you needs to meet up with everyone, host your friends early! Besides, not everyone is available during the actual day of CNY too so it’s a good excuse to start the festivities early. At FoodLine, we do have CNY menus available for events before and during CNY, so if you’d like to book your delivery slots early before they run out, check out this link: https://www.foodline.sg/chinese-new-year-catering/
