Here’s my review of the culinary journey I had at their Christmas spread:

 

Fresh Mixed Salad Greens with Lemon Vinaigrette

Starting off with a light and refreshing note, the Fresh Mixed Salad Greens were a crisp, green delight. The assortment of leafy vegetables, paired with a zesty lemon vinaigrette, was the perfect appetizer to awaken the palate. The vinaigrette, with its tangy citrus base, was both bright and clean, making the salad a refreshing start to the feast.

 

Golden Long Spring Rolls

The Golden Long Spring Rolls were an absolute hit. Crispy on the outside and filled with a savory blend of vegetables and noodles, each bite was a satisfying crunch. They were a crowd-pleaser, disappearing from the platter in no time!

 

Spaghetti Aglio Olio

A twist on a classic Italian dish, the Spaghetti Aglio Olio was simple yet perfectly executed. The spaghetti was cooked al dente, and the garlic-infused olive oil gave the pasta a comforting, savory depth. It’s the kind of dish that you’d want to go back for, time and time again.

 

Garlic French Beans with Enoki Mushrooms

The Garlic French Beans with Enoki Mushrooms was a standout vegetable dish. The French beans were cooked to a perfect tenderness, still maintaining a delightful crunch, while the earthy, delicate enoki mushrooms provided a wonderful contrast. Tossed in aromatic garlic, this dish was a great accompaniment to the more indulgent items on the buffet table.

 

Orange Cranberry Grilled Chicken

A beautifully seasoned piece of poultry, the Orange Cranberry Grilled Chicken was juicy and tender, with a beautiful balance of sweet and tart. The citrusy orange glaze, complemented by the tang of cranberry, provided a festive flair to the chicken. Each bite was full of flavor, and it was definitely one of the most popular items on the buffet.

 

Baked Fish Fillet with Mango Salsa

The Baked Fish Fillet with Mango Salsa was a delightful surprise. The fillet itself was perfectly flaky, offering a light and delicate texture, while the mango salsa was the star of the dish. Fresh, sweet, and tangy, the mango salsa added a vibrant touch to the fish, making it both refreshing and tropical—a perfect contrast to the richer dishes.

 

Golden Salted Egg Prawn

The Golden Salted Egg Prawn was the true definition of indulgence. Succulent prawns coated in a rich and creamy salted egg yolk sauce, each prawn was bursting with flavor. The salted egg was decadently creamy, providing a savory, umami-packed coating that clung to the prawns in the most delicious way. If you love seafood and salted egg, this dish will absolutely hit the mark.

 

Mini Chocolate Eclair

No buffet is complete without a little sweet indulgence, and the Mini Chocolate Eclairs were a divine treat. Light and airy pastry filled with velvety cream and topped with rich, smooth chocolate, they were the perfect bite-sized dessert. Not too heavy, but decadently sweet, they offered just the right ending to the savory dishes.

 

Fresh Fruit Platter

For those who wanted something lighter to finish the meal, the Fresh Fruit Platter provided a refreshing balance. A colorful mix of seasonal fruits, including juicy watermelon, refreshing oranges, and sweet grapes, this platter was a perfect palate cleanser and a healthier option for dessert.

 

Lychee Cordial

Finally, the Lychee Cordial was a wonderfully refreshing drink to accompany the meal. The sweet, floral flavor of lychee came through beautifully, and the drink had just the right level of sweetness—perfect for pairing with the various dishes.
