Combining authentic flavours with a selection of unique creations, they believe that they can appeal to a large variety of customers.
In this article, we will be reviewing their 10 pax mini buffet which features a plethora of amazing dishes. Without further ado, let me share my delightful dining experience with On & On Diners!
1. Wok Fried Salted Fish Fried Rice

If you like a good fried rice and you love salted fish, then this dish is made for you! The salted fish added a delicate yet delightfully anchovy-shrimp taste that is unique and delicious. The rice was light and fluffy. Overall a really flavourful dish!
2. Wok Fried Seafood Hokkien Noodles

If you like hokkien mee, definitely give this a try! The seafood stock is very rich and the noodles are fried to a perfectly gooey texture. They are also really generous with the seafood, which is fresh and flavourful.
3. Spinach with Trio of Egg in Superior Stock

Those who do not like to eat spinach may find the addition of eggs palatable. I personally prefer the gravy to be less watery, and this dish captured the perfect thick consistency. To add on, the wolfberries add sweetness and nutrition to the dish!
4. Signature Nanyang Style Curry Chicken

With a flavourful and decadent gravy holding just the right amount of spice, On & On’s curry is one for those who enjoy a richer base. The chicken meat was tender and soft and together with the curry, this was one dish you’d finish in no time. Even the lingering heat in your mouth won’t stop you from devouring this hearty bowl!
5. Malaysia Style Creamy Butter Chicken

This is one of my favourite dishes from the menu because of how rich and aromatic it was. The chicken was super tender and flavourful. Once again, pair this dish with a bowl of rice will be *chefs kiss*.
6. Buttery Salted Egg Yolk Fish

The richness of the salted egg builds steadily in perfect harmony with the tenderness of the fish. If you are a salted egg enthusiast, do not give this dish a miss! Warning: this is pretty addictive.
7. Buttery Cereal Prawn

The prawns were just buttery enough, with a toasted but sweet and milky flavour from the cereal. The curry leaves added an inexplicable scent and earthiness to the dish. Pair this dish with a bowl of plain rice and you’re good to go.
8. Dim Sum Set

The skin of their har gow is translucently thin yet sturdy enough to hold a rather hefty load of fresh prawn. The siew mai was generously stuffed with meat and well-seasoned, this will impress any seasoned meat eater.
9. Double Fudge Belgian Brownie & Vanilla Profiteroles

Yay it’s time for dessert! The brownie was moist and fudgy, which gave it the perfect brownie texture! The crunchiness of the chocolate chips gave the brownies an additional level of texture which I love. The vanilla profiteroles were light as air yet rich and satisfying. Luckily, they were not soggy at all. These pastries will be a popular choice among adults and children!
10. Chilled Almond Jelly with Longan

Last but not least, we finished off our pleasant meal with the refreshing chilled almond jelly with longan. Such a classic Chinese dessert! We had this on a really hot day, and it really managed to cool us down!
