On & On Diners Hari Raya Mini Buffet Review
Hari Raya is a wonderful time to spend with family and friends. Order from On & On Diners' amazing choice of specially curated and tasty dishes to avoid the headache of planning your own Hari Raya menu. The Rasa Sayang Menu (serves 6-8 pax) is $188 and includes a total of 10 courses.
• Nasi Kerabu
Nasi Kerabu is a visually beautiful Malay rice dish with a mix of fragrant herbs and other ingredients. The blue rice, naturally coloured with bunga telang (blue/butterfly pea blossom), is perhaps the dish's most distinctive feature. The flavours and textures of the side ingredients, such as salted egg and long beans, goes really well with each other.
• Black Pepper Smoked Duck Aglio Olio

The aroma from this dish was incredible. The smoked duck was cooked to perfection, and the pasta was al dente. The addition of black pepper brought a nice kick to the dish's overall flavour.
• Sayur Lodeh with Quail Eggs

The sayur lodeh had a delicate, creamy flavour with a tinge of ginger. The quail eggs were a nice addition to the dish because they added extra texture. The vegetables were crunchy and soaked up the broth well.
• Lamb Rendang

The lamb rendang had a fair amount of spice and was flavourful. The lamb was extremely tender and cooked perfectly. It went fantastically well with the Nasi Kerabu! The sauce was really yummy! We slurped up every last bit of it.
• Malaysia Style Creamy Butter Chicken

Butter chicken, of course. The most popular. No, this isn't your typical butter chicken from an Indian restaurant. This is cooked Malaysia Style. The bite-sized fried chicken pieces were coated in creamy butter sauce and topped with curry leaves. They were generous with the butter gravy which made it extra yummy!
• Torched Mentaiko Scallops

This was, without a doubt, my favourite dish. In one sitting, I ate five of these. The scallops were huge and fresh! They were generous with the mentaiko sauce, which had been charred to perfection.
• Tauhu Begerdil with Kicap Manis Dip

Tauhu bergedil is a tofu dish packed with ingredients and fried till crisp, which distinguishes it from boring, plain tofu. The sambal kicap is a must-have addition to the dish. The sauce, which is made with sambal manis, chillies, and fried shallots. The sauce added sweetness, heat, and umami to the dish.
• Chilled Cheng Teng

Lastly, we had a bowl of sweet and refreshing cheng teng to beat the heat. The refreshing cheng teng contained plentiful of nutritional ingredients. What a great way to round up the feast!
