I am back this week with yet another review but this time, for a few Bento set!

Do you know what's the true meaning of Nasi Lemak?

It means “fatty rice” in Malay, nasi lemak's distinctive taste comes from cooking the rice in coconut milk and pandan leaves which gives the dish its rich flavour and fragrant aroma.

First Up, we have Nasi Lemak SNL w Fried Chicken! This is a common look of how a hearty bowl of Nasi Lemak should look like. 

Oh, not to mention, the SAMBAL CHILLI definitely elevates the whole dish to a whole new level, it isn't too spicy and it goes well with every ingredient on this plate. Don't be fooled by the look of the fried chicken, it is bursting with flavours and I enjoy every bite of it, together with the sambal chilli. 

Overall, this plate of Nasi Lemak is super satisfying and it is definitely something you will crave for frequently. 

For the second dish, it is similar to the first set, just that the main ingredient is replaced with OTAH instead. Personally, I am a HUGE HUGE lover of Otah because of the blend of herbs, spices and many other ingredients. Also, the cooking method makes the OTAH super flavourful since it is usually cooked over an open charcoal fire. You will definitely savour every bite of this dish! 

Lastly, we have a plate of Nasi Lemak SNL w Fish, this is definitely an iconic Nasi Lemak dish! 

The fish is definitely well accompanied by all the other garnishes like cucumber, egg and peanut, but especially the sambal chilli, which brings the whole dish to another level. 

It is at the right amount of spice and sweetness, definitely a perfect mix of flavours if you ask me.
