Durian lovers, the last thing we want is to fall ill after consuming them! So, before we sink our teeth into this heavenly king of fruits, let us take some time to read up on the foods to avoid when consuming durians. You never know, you might have been consuming them with durians all along!
Alcohol

This has been mentioned before in our previous article about how good or bad durians are for you here, but the severity of it needs to be reiterated again, especially since it has been strongly advised against by medical professionals. Durian has high sulfur content which slows down the metabolism of your body and digestion of alcohol, which can cause a really bad hangover, bloating, and heartburn.
Milk

Consuming durians with milk may also lead to increased blood pressure!
Crabs

Even though in TCM weâre supposed to alleviate the âheatinessâ by consuming something cooling, crabs are extremely cooling and if eaten with durian, it might cause your stomach some discomfort.
Other Heaty Foods

Heaty foods like eggplants (although I have no idea why anyone would consume eggplants with durians), lychee, beef, and mutton can cause your body temperature to rise when consumed with durians and you might fall ill.
