Through this DIY Cake Customisation series, you will be able to customise your own desired cake to match the theme of your event in just 3 simple steps. It’s as easy as it sounds!

Step 1: Choose your favourite topper!

You can choose from the range of 19 toppers on the menu. These fondant toppers are of high quality and are extremely intricate as each piece is personally handcrafted with love!

Step 2: Select your Preferred Texture

With up to 4 different types of texture to choose from, there would definitely be something to suit your theme! What’s more, all the cakes come with an ombré-coloured effect that enhances the overall look of the cake.

Step 3: Choose your Favourite Flavour

The three cakes we tasted include:
1. Dinosaur Cake (Dinosaur Topper , Green Plain Texture, Chocolate + Chocolate Fillings)
2. Baby Boy Cake (Baby Boy Topper, Blue Fish Scale Texture, Vanilla + Blueberry Fillings)
3. My Melody Cake (My Melody Topper, Pink Rosette Texture, Vanilla + Strawberry Fillings)

Dinosaur Cake

This cake is definitely everyone’s top pick in terms of taste and aesthetics! The adorable dinosaur topper already stole our hearts once it arrived in our office. The colour was so vibrant on the exterior, and it still looks presentable even after we’ve sliced it!  In terms of taste, the sponge cake was moist and rich in chocolate flavour. The cake was also not too cloy because the whipped cream and chocolate cream was balanced well with the slight bittersweet taste at the end. A perfect indulgence for the birthday star and your guests!

Baby Boy Cake

This baby boy cake which made everyone go “aww so cute!” would be the perfect choice for a baby boy’s birthday or even a gender reveal party!

This flavour was slightly light on the palate and would be a perfect cake after a heavy meal. The vanilla sponge was moist and soft, with blueberry jam sandwiched in between the layers. The blueberry jam filling contained bits of blueberry adding texture to every bite. Surprisingly, the blueberry jam complemented the cake perfectly - it was not too sweet nor too overpowering!

My Melody Cake

The Melody cake is definitely a perfect choice for girls! The pink rosette design was highly sophisticated with each and every rose piped to perfection. Kudos to the team for being so meticulous, paying attention to all the minute details to ensure consistency amongst the three cakes!

However, since it was paired with a vanilla sponge cake and mixed with a tad of whipped cream, we felt that the vanilla essence overpowered the taste of the strawberry fillings and as such, we personally felt that the strawberry cream could be richer in taste.
