CAKEINSPIRATION Review - Yummy Cookies to munch on!

Cookies are probably a popular go-to snack bite for a sweet-tooth person like me. If I were to list down the important factors I look for in a cookie, I would say it would be the texture, thickness and taste. It can be a plain-looking boring cookie, an ugly or odd-shaped cookie, but as long as it fulfils these three main elements, I have no complaints. You know what they say – the uglier the cookies, the tastier it is. 🍪 

CAKEINSPIRATION has sent over 3 different cookies to us: 

• Double Chocolate Chip Cookie 
• Peanut Butter Cookie 
• Oatmeal with Raisins Cookie 

And I am not one who will pass on a cookie treat just like that, so read on to know how I felt about these cookies! 

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

This Double Chocolate Chip cookie was an absolute pleasure to devour, this has definitely got to be my personal favourite among them all. Different from the typical crunchy or chewy cookies, this thick and rich cookie reminded me more of a dense cake. With that being said, this was a really “solid” cookie filled with a generous amount of gooey chocolate chips that made every bite better than the previous one. This cookie size was noticeably smaller than the other two cookies, yet would still be enough to satisfy your sweet cravings and fill you up a little just before you get surfeited!

Peanut Butter Cookies

This cookie may seemingly look plain, dull and boring. But it certainly isn’t the case when you start biting into it. The peanut butter taste was much stronger than I expected – given the fact that I couldn’t really smell the peanut butter aroma when I took it out of the packaging. It’s slightly crispier than how I would like my cookies to be (I usually prefer chewy cookies), but it’s still of a biteable texture.  

I’ve ever had cookies that were a little too hard to bite through but this cookie is definitely not one of those. I appreciated the fact that it wasn’t a very crumbly cookie, which (thankfully) didn’t leave a mess on the tables. This made the whole snacking experience better for me as I didn’t have to worry about the cookie falling apart with my every bite. 😋

Oatmeal with Raisin Cookies

Sometimes there’s nothing better than a good ol’ oatmeal raisin cookie. Self-explanatory from its name, a simple mixture of oatmeal and raisins. Made with basic ingredients, yet still made a delightful treat! Full of nubby oats and generous amounts of sweet raisins, these lightly spiced cookies are the perfect snack to have. It would have been good if I had a cup of milk to eat this cookie with as I thought it was a tad bit too dry for my liking, but otherwise it would make a deservedly beloved cookie!

Perfect texture, thickness and size – that’s what I would call an ideal cookie. If you’re a fan of moist, soft and chewy cookies, you might be disappointed. But that being said, those who enjoy crunchy-brown edges and crisp throughout, you might just want to give these a shot! 😍
