D.I.Y Sushi
Throughout this circuit breaker period, I lost count of how many times my mother and I tried to innovate and create a unique looking dish but we are quite proud of this one!
Ingredients:
- Japanese Rice
- Potato Chips (any flavour you like)
- Luncheon Meat
- Any toppings you want to add inside your sushi (e.g. crabmeat and cucumber)
- Seaweed
Steps:
- After cooking the rice, let it cool down first at one side
- Smash the potato chips into small-bite size
- Cut the seaweed into small pieces
- Add both the potato chips and seaweed on top of the rice
- Mix it thoroughly
- Add in toppings of your choice
- Add in a layer of rice to cover your toppings
- (Optional) Put a piece of clingwrap and add in the rice and shape it
- Add a piece of luncheon meat on top
- Finally, use a piece of seaweed to secure the rice and the luncheon meat and enjoy!
