As Christmas is nearing, decorations can already be seen to get the festive vibes going. The appearance of the Christmas cakes from Eatzi Gourmet Bakery is sure to lighten up your mood too! Recently, we had the pleasant opportunity to try out these 4 beautiful cakes from Eatzi Gourmet Bakery!
Here is our honest opinion of the cakes that we tasted.

- Mango Log Cake
- Jingle Pops
- Frosty Winter Red Velvet Cake
- Rhapsody Delight Salted Caramel Cake
1.Mango Log Cake

The first cake we tried that day was the Mango Log cake as it really caught our attention while we were taking photos of it. The mango slices were glistening under the sun and it was such a pretty sight when we cut the cake open.
I personally thought that this cake was perfect in every way. The mango slices were carved thinly and nicely which complemented every bite of the cake. The mango slices were mildly sweet and tangy, which made the cake really refreshing to have. The sponge inside is light and fluffy, and beautifully layered with a light aromatic mango mousse. The silky smooth mousse really brought out the natural flavour of mango.
Overall this cake is impressive and scored a 5/5 from the team.

2.Jingle Pops

These cute little Jingle Pops really caught our attention when we first received the items. The small characters attached to the Jingle Pops were really well-designed, and are probably the most Instagram worthy item to have on the list. Our first impression was that these Jingle Pops will not taste as nice as they looked as they just seemed to be made for aesthetic purposes but we were proven wrong.
The Jingle Pops had a good texture and bite to them, similar to a dense quality chocolate. They were a little on the sweet side, similar to milk chocolate, and you can definitely devour the whole Jingle Pop in a single bite. It might get a little messy though, as the food colouring will smudge onto your lips. As these Jingle Pops were coated with quite a bit of glaze compared to the cake, you might feel some “gelatness” if you have too much of these. I definitely recommend slowly savouring these.
We give this a rating of 3.5/5.

3.Frosty Winter Red Velvet Cake

This cake should be one heavenly treat for you red velvet lovers. It consists of red velvet layers and is covered by a hazelnut concoction! The cake came decorated with macarons on top, which I thought, was quite a sweet touch. The cream was evenly spread on the surface, creating a nice consistency. The cake was slightly coarse and fluffy, but paired with the cream, it provided a really nice texture. The flavour is rich, floral and slightly chocolatey, just what you would expect of a well-baked red velvet cake.
This cake deserved a 4.5/5 rating from us.

4.Rhapsody Delight Salted Caramel Cake
Don't these little snowmen on the cake look cute! Other than the cake being aesthetically pleasing, it was also delicious. The cake was layered with light salted caramel cream that melts in the mouth and gracefully covered with birchbark white chocolate pieces. This cake was really creamy yet not overly sweet or salty. The salted caramel cream really stood out in flavour which was quite addictive! You can pair every bite with the crunchy chocolate pieces for different layers of texture.
This cake got a 4/5 from us.
