Elmo/Cookie Monster Cakes That Are Perfect For Your Thematic Party - Pink Maison Review
I think these guys here should not be unfamiliar faces to most of us since we probably grew up with them. They're none other than Elmo and Cookie Monster from the Sesame Street!
My team and I got to relive a little of our childhood through these pretty character cakes that Pink Maison sent us a while ago.

Seeing these cakes instantly puts a smile on my face. These cakes are sooo adorable and their googly eyes are so fun to look at! Many of you (like me) must be wondering if these cakes taste as good as they look, right?
Well... it's a resounding yes from all of us here!

We got the Chocolate Fudge for the Cookie Monster cake. True to its name, the chocolate sponges were really fudgy, sandwiching layers of chocolate ganache. I thought the entire slice would be too cloying to finish but it was surprisingly not. The cake was moist and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. Yum!

The Elmo cake came in the salted caramel flavour. Instead of having layers of chocolate ganache in between the chocolate sponge, a combination of whipped cream and salted caramel was used. I am personally not a big fan of salted caramels as I found the idea of savoury and sweet food a little queer. However, I still thought the salted caramel cake from Pink Maison was pretty good and many of my colleagues gave this one a thumbs up.

We also received a set of Elmo & Cookie Monster themed cupcakes to try! Beneath their cute appearance were vanilla cupcakes. The cupcakes were moist and lovely to have.

In all, the bakes sent by Pink Maison were very well loved by the team especially the cakes! Both cakes were very delightful to have. They were luxuriously rich yet not cloying to the taste.
