Fairyfloss Review - Make your Mother's Day a magical one!

Recently, we were pleased to receive this Fairyfloss Rainbow Crepe Cake from Fairyfloss. The moment we opened the box, we were in awe and amazed at just how magical the cake looked! The cake was well decorated with a mixture of pastel colored cream, rainbow marshmallows, silver bead candies and tiny containers of fairy floss! Everything looked truly magical!

This crepe cake is made up of a combination of thin spongy crepes, silky soft thin threads of candy flavored flosses and cream sandwiched in-between each layer. Each colored layer of the cake contained different flavors such as strawberry, blueberry, mango and apple. You can tell how this cake was 100% handmade with love, just by seeing how the caterer took delicate effort in ensuring that each crepe layer was consistent in thickness. This allowed each flavor of the cake to balance out evenly. The cake was also not too sweet, which would be suitable for both the young and old!

Before cutting the cake, we were given the honors of sprinkling the fairy floss over the cake in any way we wish! This fun element would definitely be one that the younger crowd would enjoy doing - sprinkling the fairy floss while secretly eating some goodness

However, a suggestion that we have would be to make the crepe layers slightly softer and more moist. We also recommend that the cake is chilled before serving! Additionally, to add on an extra fun element and provide more texture, perhaps more cake toppings could be provided such as gummies, popping candy or rainbow sprinkles.

This amazing dessert is certainly worth the try. We were blown away at just how smooth and mouth-melting the flavored flosses were, and it complemented the cake perfectly as well!
