How Often Should I Wash My Cloth Mask

With the given rule of wearing our mask the moment we step out of our house, it can be a little draining and suffocating to wear our masks. Even if it is a trip down to open our mailbox, we still have to wear our masks. So the question is, how often should we wash our cloth masks?

The simple answer is to wash it everyday, regardless of how long you wear it for. Why? If you're using it and going out to run errands, you run the risk of having droplets collect on the surface of the mask. The moment  you wear the mask, you are exposed to risk of droplets collecting on the surface of the mask which is why you should wash it once used to prevent bacteria from forming.

You might want to hand wash instead of putting it in the washing machine especially when your mask comes with filter because filters are much more delicate than mask.
