Fried Chicken Wings

Seasoned to perfection, slightly crispy and real juicy! This may be a fairly simple dish but who doesn’t like some fried chicken wings? Guilty pleasures but surely worth spending your calories on!

Fruit Salad

I don’t normally like fruit salads because they can be drenched in cream and other sauces, but I appreciate how Om Nom separated the sauces so that I could have the options of drizzling sugar syrup, mayonnaise or could just have it on its own – tasting the original flavours of these fruits! The fruit salad was just as what you would expect fruit salads to be like — simply refreshing! The fruit salad would work well as a dessert or an appetizer!

Basil Egg Century with Pork

The century egg brought so much fragrance to the dish, and each slice I took had a burst of umami in my mouth! I loved how the fiery chilli slices added just the right amount of spiciness to this aromatic dish. Friends who love century eggs would be thrilled to know of this amazing dish!

Cereal Prawn

A probably quintessential favourite to the Chinese — Cereal Prawns! Fragrant, succulent prawns topped with a whole load of crispy buttery cereals and fried together with bits of curry leaves for the ultimate contentment! Those fond of prawns, be prepared to dig into this wonderful dish!

Salted Egg Fried Fish

Hop onto the bandwagon of the Salted Egg trend with this dish! I never liked Salted Egg because it is always too overpowering for me, but this dish made me changed my opinion. It tasted mild, yet still had the lingering aftertaste of salted egg. These were delicate on the inside and crispy on the outside. Coupled with the mild taste of salted egg, it was probably the reason why I kept reaching out for more.

Fish Maw Soup

The Fish Maw Soup we received was the Thai take of the traditional Chinese one. This one had light flavours but filled with tons of nutritional ingredients! Unlike the usual Fish Maw Soup we are used to, this one didn’t have beaten eggs and was lower in viscosity. This is a great addition to the menu!

Onion and Ginger Chicken with Chinese Mushroom

This dish came off really strong to me. The onion and ginger fragrance has been fully absorbed by the chicken. If you’re a fan of strong flavours, this dish would be perfect for you! However, personally, I would have love it more had the flavours been toned down a little. Nevertheless, the variety of ingredients used really gave added texture to the dish and this would be a perfect dish to have with piping hot white rice!

Grilled Pork Collar

Firm pork meat coated with this sweet and spicy Thai sauce; you’ll never regret this decision! The sauce was really flavourful, and it complemented the meat really well, I was totally eating my hearts out pairing this dish with my rice!
Taste Rating: 3.5/5
Mee Sua

This was probably my first time having the dried version of Mee Sua but it tasted surprisingly good, though it did feel a bit too soggy and soft for my liking after a while. The green onion, carrots and beansprouts in this dish did help to add a good bite to the otherwise soft dish though!

Pineapple Fried Rice

I felt that Om Nom Thai's Pineapple fried rice really contained the strong essence of Thai cuisine. There was the evident taste of pineapples and raisins which I really liked. This is one classic Thai main dish that complemented the other dishes in this menu and one that's not to be missed.

Mixed Vegetables with Asparagus and Oyster Sauce

Vibrant colours, light-hearted ingredients with toned-down flavours as compared to the others, you can never go wrong with this dish! While the other dishes are heartier, this dish gives you an essence of home and is a great comfort food!

Red Ruby with Jackfruit

A popular Thai dessert, which many would say is a rendition of our very own Bubur Cha Cha. The Red Ruby is made of water chestnut that’s covered in a layer of soft jelly, and when eaten together with the crunchy jackfruit and creamy coconut milk, it will keep you coming back for more! 😋
