Overnight Oats

Overnight oats? Something different from your usual oats! Overnight oats are done with no cooking method involved, and just soaking it overnight.
You might be asking why overnight oats?
- Soaking it helps the starches break down and reduces the natural phytic acid, which helps your body utilize the oats nutrients more efficiently.
- Increased digestibility
- Simple and time-saving
Of course, there are many benefits of overnight oats but above mentioned are just the main reasons. So, I will be sharing how to make basic overnight oats!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of oats
- ½ cup of milk
- ¾ tbsp. of chia sweets
- Yogurt
- 1 tbsp. Of vanilla extract
- Preferred Sweetener (maple syrup/stevia/honey)

Steps:
- First, combine oats and chia seeds. Feel free to use a bowl, a mason jars or glass cups.
- Next, add the yogurt and vanilla extract.
- And then, add the sweetener of choice and the milk.
- Give it a good stir until you see no clumps.
- Seal or cover with the lid and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
- Next morning, add your favourite toppings and dig in!
One tip for making your overnight oats, make a bunch of them because overnight oats typically stay good in the fridge for up to 5 days. Make a batch on Sunday and enjoy for the rest of the week. And remember not to put in fruits beforehand as the fruits will not remain fresh for more than a couple of days.
