Petite Joy Bakes Review - The Perfect Cakes to Indulge in

People always have the impression that cakes are made for celebrations, but who says cakes can’t be made for those moments you happen to be craving for some? Enough of those cakes that leave one discontented and unfulfilled! Cakes would always appear tempting and inviting to me, and because of that, I would want to enjoy a cake that lives up to my expectations to satisfy my cravings. If you’re just like me, you probably wouldn’t want to miss out on these heavenly-tasting cakes made by Petite Joy Bakes which can leave a deep impression on you!
Biscoff Latte (New Flavour)

A new addition to their cake family – Biscoff Latte! I love cookie butter. I love Biscoff cookies. And to have it all in one cake? That is exactly my kind of guilty pleasure I would need if I wanted to indulge! If you’re not one who goes for extravagant designs but wouldn’t like a simple plain cake either, this cake could probably do the job for you.

Aesthetically presented and garnished with Pretzels, Biscoff cookie bits, cookie butter icing and Biscoff Swiss Meringue Buttercream swirls. Mmm… I was sold! That sounded like a deal just for me. Though I was a tad bit worried that it could’ve been too sweet with so much going on, it definitely wasn’t the case! I’m not a huge fan of coffee, so the coffee cakes did throw me off a little, but I still appreciated the mild coffee essence being integrated within the cake!

I especially loved the Biscoff buttercream that brought the whole cake together with the cookie butter icing and the mild coffee flavours. Delectably crunchy, with a unique caramelized taste and refined flavour that Lotus Biscoff cookie chunks have, this cake could be the perfect treat for the timeout you deserve. Petite Joy Bakes certainly have their way to winning the hearts of all you cake-lovers out there, this cake is surely a must-try from them!

Passion Fruit Caramel Cake

It seemed like another ordinary sweet cake to me at first glance, but as soon as I cut in, the Passion Fruit aroma filled the air and I knew it was going to be good. I’ve tasted many Passion Fruit flavoured cakes, yet this cake was still incomparably good. It might look unassuming and you probably won’t be expecting much of this cake, but it has clearly proved me wrong.

Rich and aromatic hand-cooked-from-scratch Passion Fruit Caramel sandwiched in between light vanilla sponge cake layers, need I say more? Well-decorated with hand-piped Passion Fruit Swiss meringue buttercream swirls and sprinkled with more freeze-dried passion fruit, this is all you’ll need on a typical “I’m just craving cakes” day! The tangy Passion Fruit cuts a little of the sweetness from the rich caramel, balances and blends to a whole new flavour on its own!

Don’t belittle the flavours within this cake, it may be a simple-looking cake but it sure tastes divine! True enough; when I took my first bite, I was surprised to taste the dimensional flavours (that didn’t reflect its unassuming appearance at all) coming in layer by layer – the creaminess, sweetness, tanginess and fruitiness. What wow-ed me even more was the fact that none of the flavours overpowered and instead complemented each other really well!
