Pezzo Review - A quick pizza fix!

Isn’t chilling with your friends and pizzas a lot more interesting when there is a variety of food for you to choose from? Or if it’s just a lazy day and your clique just wants to sit in and binge eat? You know it, good food brings people together! You’ll be delighted to know that Pezzo’s lip-smackin’ pizzas and snacks would be able to complete your fun night! 

At Pezzo, every pizza has its own unique character and taste and their pizza crafters take the utmost pride in tossing, garnishing and baking all the pizzas fresh daily. We are more than happy to receive the Jumbo Party Bundle Set from them! This bundle set consists of: 

• 1 pan Cheesy Cheese pizza
• Beef Lasagna 
• 4 pieces of Chicken Drumlets 
• 2 boxes of popcorn chicken
• 4 cans Coke 

Pan Cheesy Cheese Pizza

Pizza crust can get really thick and doughy at times, but I personally felt that this pizza was just of the perfect thickness – makes you full without feeling too stodgy! They were really generous with the cheese, though I would wish for the cheese to be meltier (who wouldn’t be up for stretchy cheese right?) perhaps it may be due to the fact that we only consumed it an hour after it was delivered. Putting that aside, there was a nice coating of tomato-base and an even spread of cheese on top of each slice! Don’t underestimate the size of each slice, I didn’t think that a slice would fill me up, but it totally did!

Beef Lasagna

A simple and classic dish! Layer upon layer of soft pasta with the mouth-watering combination of a rich Bolognese sauce, well-seasoned ground beef and loaded with cheese on top! This recipe isn’t about skimping! The balance between the cheese, noodles and sauce is important for Lasagna dishes and Pezzo has nailed it for their very own Beef Lasagna!

Chicken Drumlets

I’m one of those that prefers mid wings and drumlets rather than a big fat chicken drumstick. Personally, I feel that drumlets are more tender as compared to drumsticks. Having said that, there are times you can still go wrong with drumlets when it gets a little too dry and tough. With Pezzo, you wouldn’t have to worry about it, because their mildly sweet and spicy drumlets are real tender and juicy!

Popcorn Chicken

Did anyone just say Popcorn Chicken? We heard you! These miniature crispy and tender chicken bites are great as accompanying snacks with pizzas, I kept reaching out for more without even realizing it! If I were to really find faults in this snack, I would say the popcorn chicken that we received were of uneven goldens and yellowish tones. It wasn’t much of a big hoo-ha since it didn’t affect the taste and textures, I still enjoyed having these finger foods pretty well!

Pezzo definitely does what it says on the tin – a pizza stand that sells scrumptious and filling pizzas! I would say it’s a good bang-for-your-buck if you and your friends are on a budget yet still want to enjoy some good food! There’s no better feeling in the world than enjoying a warm pizza box with your loved ones!
