Bibimbap

This classic Korean dish features the traditional stir fried Bulgogi (beef) with fresh oyster mushrooms, assorted seasoned vegetables, topped with premium Korean rice. To make the dish complete, it is garnished with egg yolk and tasty flying fish roe. With the generous amount of ingredients filing each cup to the brim, each mouthful was packed with bursting flavours that got us all hooked on it!

Honey Chicken Rice

This dish consists of deep fried, boneless chicken fresh from the farm, dressed in sweet honey sauce and served with their premium Korean Rice. The chicken had a perfect succulent texture and was flavourful which complemented well with the rice. Although a generous portion of chicken was given, we felt that more honey sauce could have been provided, to prevent the rice from getting slightly dry towards the end.

Spicy Samgyeop Rice
This dish consists of tender pork belly and fresh vegetables, with a drizzle of their special sweet and spicy sauce over Premium Korean Rice. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness, and each mouthful was packed full with flavours from the generous bite-sized ingredients.

Bulgogi Fried Noodle

The Bulgogi Fried Noodles was one of our favourite picks out of all the dishes provided. The caterer did very well in ensuring that the beef was well marinated and had a perfect tenderness in texture. The noodles were also topped with a generous amount of freshly grated vegetables and Korean bulgogi sauce, which made the dish highly appetizing and addictive. However, we felt that if would have been better if there was slightly more meat. Nevertheless, we highly recommend you to give this dish a try!

Suntofu Jigae

This dish consists of fresh clams, oyster mushrooms, and soft silky Korean tofu carefully stewed in seafood spicy soup; and served with premium Korean rice. Although the broth was slightly watered-down, the soup was still very flavourful and filled with many ingredients.
One downside was that the rice was slightly mushy and soft (we thought that it might be due to condensation of the hot rice in the coffee cup). Nonetheless, the rice was still flavourful and complemented very well with the stew.

Kimchi Jigae

This dish consist of flame-boiled sliced pork belly, finished with traditional korean kimchi to taste. Similar to the Suntofu jigae, the soup for this dish was slightly watered-down. However, every spoonful still packs the sourness and spiciness of the kimchi, which complemented the rice really well

Chilli Tteokbokki

This dish consists of a sweet and spicy Korean rice cake coupled with fresh vegetables, fish cakes, egg and a generous garnish of mozzarella. The texture of the rice cakes had a perfect balance of chewiness and stickiness. Furthermore, the sweet and spicy sauce had a thick consistency, which stuck on each piece of rice cake well, providing just the right amount of sauce in every bite!

Sweet Dakgangjeong

This dish consists of deep fried boneless chicken cubes battered in The Cup SG’s signature sweet sauce. Each chicken was cooked to perfection, slightly crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside! This was another favourite amongst everyone and all the Dakgangjeong were gone in no time!
