  • Consume Breakfast within an hour of waking up

Yes, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! By having your breakfast, you are boosting your mood, metabolism as well as cognitive function!

Remember to choose a healthy balanced breakfast to ensure you get all the needed nutrients! Examples of protein food are eggs, lean meat and yogurt.

For healthy fats, you can consume it from avocado, nuts, seeds and coconut/olive oil.

 

  • Constant Hydration

Dehydration can make you feel more and more tired, drinking water will help you feel more awake and alert so remember to drink up every once in awhile! Remember to bring a water bottle with you no matter where you go!

  • Light Afternoon Snack

We tend to get hungry during later part of the day but it is important to watch what we eat. Instead of relying on sugar/coffee, try to consume fruits, whole-grain breads or even healthy fat items as mentioned above!

As we continue to persevere through each day, always note that you need to take care of yourself and make sure that you have enough energy to push through the day!
