Eatzi Gourmet Bakery

I was very very disappointed with the lychee pineapple tarts I received. The jar is not filled and the tape sealing appeared not secured. Eatzi Gourmet should check and sealed the jar properly in case of tampering. It should have a label to indicate how many tarts are there. I am shocked to see the tarts in this state. The chiffon cake is ok. Fortunately it came in one piece!

Tiramisu cake doesn’t taste anything like tiramisu. It’s bland and we just discard it. Birthday mood spoilt.
Delivery service supposed to come 1-5pm (that morning someone called to confirm order, where I ask to deliver after 2pm if possible) but arrived 12pm and I had to trouble my neighbour to keep for me; as no one was home.

Cake looked nice for 100 days. Taste wise was normal like normal bakery sponge cake, nothing really special. But overall, it was ok. Had hoped that the cake will taste nicer with the price paid though. Thanks

The black forest cake was really heavy and had a very very very thin layer of fresh cream on it. Compared to Prima Deli and Four Leaves, this cake has a long way to go. There was hardly any cherries inside the cake too, so it did not really taste like a real black forest cake. I think eatzi gourmet has to really do some research as to what a black forest cake should taste like. 8 out of my 12 guests did not like the cake.

Disappointing design on cake that looks nothing like the photo on foodline. The photo on foodline depicted the Chinese character 寿 clearly. For such a lapse in what was delivered for an elderly’s birthday, it was totally unacceptable.

Not too sweet for elderly folk
But too much cream and not mousse as expected.
Not much of mango flesh

Restaurant staff was not very helpful and was confused during self collection.
Most pastries are fine but cupcake is too dense and gummy

First, ordered this cake and stated "BIRTHDAY EVENT". The cake was delivered with knife & candles but without a Birthday Plastic text tag (That's a shame!).

Seconds, this supplier is "Jack's Place", having higher expectations (esp from the outlook of the cake photo).. the cake was badly done. The jelly part and sponge just slip away from each other. The taste of the sponge is really horrible. I never tasted anything that bad for a birthday fruit cake. The previous one i bought from was Mirana (tasted good).

Lastly, the box was dripping with mango liquid and it's sticky.

Joyous event ruined.

I have stated that the cake to be delivered at 3pm, they charged me additional$10. This should be made clear to the customers at the website. So this additional cost comes as a shock to me. Besides, the staff was not helpful to check if I can claim back this additional delivery charges of $10. Lastly, the delivery instruction was left out and therefore they delivered the cake to the wrong place.

In terms of the quality of the cake, I still prefer chocolate cakes from Polar though it is only $10 more expensive..
