Angel's Restaurant

Lobster Salad too much watermelon and other cocktails fruits topping. Can't see much of lobster meat. Overall food is alright. But driver runs two trip due to forget to bring wax burner. So food serving from 6pm is not ready for guests.

This is my first time ordering from Angel's restaurant. I've catered 75 pax for a Birthday celebration on CNY DAY 3. Honestly being unsatisfied with the catering was an understatement. All my guests was dissatisfied with the catering as well.

The fried rice was really soggy and it turns bad even before the end of the event. Everything was really bland...

Not only the food was bad, the service was not up to standard too..
Before confirming the Purchase order (PO), i was promised 2 satay per guest. (75 x 2=150 sticks) However, on the day itself, I've only received 110 sticks. The nonya curry chicken was really bland and the portion was little beyond words. As shown on the picture, my colleague has ordered the same dish(curry chicken) from them on the same day but the differences in the portions are huge. Furthermore she has only ordered for 30 pax. I highly suspect that they gave the wrong order.

Called the manager immediately regarding these issues and no service recovery was done. He told us that it is a standard practice that they only give 110 sticks for 75 pax. If they can't deliver, why promise? Told him that the chicken curry was too little and he told us that there should be 85-87 pieces of chickens. It is obvious that there wasn't more than 40 pieces in the curry...

In the future, i feel that they should not over promise with regards to the quantity of the dishes as it will cause great inconveniences. I could have went ahead and prepare more food for the guest if i am aware that the amount they provide are so little..

Didn't expect this type of experience for a Birthday/CNY celebration. Disappointed beyond words...

This is the 1st time I catered under Angel Restaurant and it will be my last time. Firstly, my lunch start at 1.30 pm, the delivery came at 1.15 pm. causes obstruction for my guest to enter the house.
Secondly, the setting for the buffet was the worst, I have ever encountered. (see attached picture).
Thirdly, the fried rice and the bee hoon had already turned bad, not able to consume. The dessert are so watery and no taste.
Lastly, the collection suppose to come at about 6 pm, but delay to nearly 7.45 pm. Th food is in my house, I can't leave my house for dinner until they collect the stuff.
Very disappointed and feel very bad for my guest. Bear in mind is CNY!

First time i ordering cny menu for my family and freinds gathering event. Overall service and foods are good. Food delivery timing is puntual. My freinds quite like and enjoy the foods. Can consider to order again in future.

The person set up up the buffet as requested. Friendly guy and happy to come back later to collect the cheque. Overall everyone was happy with the quantity and quality of the buffet.

Friendly staff with prompt response and punctual for the buffet set up.
Satay is good but insufficient for 35 pax. Steamed glutinous in lotus leaf is nice with individual packaging.

Portion was little. Not justified for 50pax. Serving is not generous compared to other more reputable caterer.

Very disappointed that I ordered the food for 50 paxs but it think they only cooked for 30 paxs. The HK roasted duck is so little and all cut into very small pieces which I think is just 1 duck and how to feed 50 paxs. THe noodle turns sour after 2 and 1/2 hours and very disappointed with the amount of food they cooked for 50 paxs.

The glutinous rice was not made know to us that it is individual packed while we thought that it is the whole chafing dish that they will give. The nyonya curry chicken is very little with a lot of gravy,

Overall the food portion is very little and not value for money. what they supplied majority our those purchased individual items.

We ordered for 55 pax for our lunar new gathering as we are a large family and with my dad being the eldest in the family (93years old!!!). Try this restaurant for the first time, and while more of the food is ok, and the glutinous rice with chicken is more than ok, the hong kong noodles came across as dry and not tasty. We also had a leak in the container for the fruit punch and messed up the table thru out the night. I would not discount this restaurant forever but certainly improvements needed!!

Portion of food not sufficient for 30 guests. I have to get my helper to cook addition fried beehoon.
The fruit punch was served in a container that was leaking resulting in half of the buffet table and the floor become wet. Have to mop the floor. Luckily, I have placed the buffet table in the car porch.
