Ordered for 30 pax but quantity was not really sufficient. Curry chicken was rather oily too. Food taste is ok

1) delivered was late by 30 minutes to start with and 2 out of the 10 discs ordered were missing! The delivery man had to go back to the kitchen to take the 2 missing discs and final set up was done about 2.5 hrs later than the original delivery time.
2) one of the 10 discs that I ordered was wrong and replaced by another disc without prior consultation with me. I only discovered after delivery was made! the reason given was no stock for the original disc that I have ordered, made payment and confirmed by the caterer more than 1.5 months in advance!
3) the sticker on one of the discs packing shown that the quantity is lesser than the order I have paid for! the excuse given was the only disc with the sticker was wrong in quantity and the rest of the discs without any sticker were correct. can anyone believe that was the case??
4) The cost of the total order was $1876.16 and the caterer insisted that they will only give me a $10 refund which I think is an insult!

1) Food delivery arrived 1-1/2 hours early than requested time.
2) Because food arrived too early, food became cold and not crispy when guests arrived.
3) Amount of FA CAI YU SHENG W SMOKED SALMON was not enough for numbers of guests.

Fa Cai Yu Sheng was tooo small!! How can it be for 15 pax? It's for 4 -6 pax max! So disappointed about the size! Signature Curry Chicken was above average, not bad but portion too little. Butter Prawn was good, portion's too little too. Cereal Fish is the worst; too dry. Prawn Paste Chicken Mid Joint is good, portion's too little too. Breaded Crab Claw & Curry Samosa tasted average, abit soggy though. Four Season Vegetable w Clam was above average, portion size is good. Thai Style Tofu w Onions was not nice, too dry too. Oriental Fried Rice is nice and portion size is good. Kampong Fried Mee Siam is average, portion size is good. Mini Fruit Tart is good but too little. Tropical Fruit Punch is the usual concord.

There were flies flew out from the food when the plastic
Wrappers were removed.
I was shocked and embarrassed as some of my guests saw the flies flew out. Has told the company but they asked me to provide videos / pictures of the flies. This is already so shocking and how am I to chase after the flies to take pictures and to cause riots during my party!
This is so unhygienic and my party was ruined as flies flew out from 5 trays of food out of the 8 dishes.

Driver was supposed to set up buffet by 1130am and ready to start the buffet at 12pm. However, they only arrived at 12pm and set up done at 1213pm. They should have informed earlier if they were going to be late instead of me calling up to chase.
We postponed our celebrations due to the caterer's lateness. When we started to eat at 1230pm, the food were not warm, which I believe was due to the food wasn't given enough time to warm up after setting up.
The Thai style fish is more like batter without fish, can hardly find any fish inside the deep fried batter. Mix reviews on the prawns. Some commented that the shells were stuck to the flesh (not fresh), some said prawns were ok. Curry chicken seemed like leftovers from yesterday as the meat were already fell off the bone and disintegrated into small pcs in the gravy. Mini choc eclair is dry, not nice at all.
Will not order from this caterer in the near future unless they do better job in their food and service.

The mini chicken is tough and teriyaki chicken is very starchy.. the pineapple rice is too sticky for my personal preference

The set up was an hour early, which is way too early imo. The presentation was ok, but the quantity was embarrassingly lacking. And the quality not great. Noodles dry, prawn paste chicken overly salty and greasy, curry chicken so-so, broccoli and cauliflower too hard. Disappointing and embarrassing. Fail

Our recent experience with ECreative Catering fell significantly below expectations. The delivery and collection timings were poorly handled, creating unnecessary disruptions to our event.

Delivery Timing

The food was delivered at 4:30 PM, an hour earlier than our event at 5:30 PM, which was inconvenient. This early delivery caused the food to lose its warmth, especially since our guests began eating later as it was meant to be for dinner.

Food Collection

The collection of food containers at 8:30 PM was far too early and disrupted the flow of the evening. Most caterers typically collect around 9:30 or 10 PM, so this felt rushed and inconsiderate.

Food Quality and Portions

The food itself was underwhelming. Many guests commented that the dishes were too bland, which diminished the dining experience. Additionally, the portion sizes for some menu items were insufficient, leaving us scrambling to accommodate everyone.

Lack of Clarity on Setup Time

Another issue was the lack of clarity regarding the setup time. While the event was set for 5:30 PM, the caterer arrived an hour early for setup, leaving the food sitting in warmers unnecessarily. This is impractical for dinner events and feels wasteful.

Overall, while we had high hopes for ECreative Catering, these issues with timing, food quality, and insufficient portions left us deeply disappointed. Improvements in communication, timing accuracy, and food quality are necessary for a better customer experience.

The food was packed with cling wraps, some had holes so it kind of leaked out when we were unpacking. The items were not hot by the time it arrived and some stuffs were extremely soggy already.
