Assam Fish The dish did not match the advertised photo. The image showed Assam fish with lady’s fingers and eggplant, but we received only fish fillet with dry gravy. Likely due to the use of fried dory fish cutlets, which absorbed the sauce. When queried, the caterer mentioned that their version doesn’t include vegetables. The promotional photo was misleading. Chilli Crab Tofu The tofu was well-prepared, but the chilli crab flavour was missing. Enhancing the sauce would greatly improve this dish. Sambal Egg with Fishball Creative concept with fried hard-boiled eggs, but the sambal was bland and minimal. The eggs were slightly overcooked, with a blue ring around the yolk. Begedil The begedil lacked the taste of potato and seemed mostly flour-based, resulting in a plain and unremarkable flavour. Logistics & Presentation Food Temperature: Arrived hot, which was appreciated. Delivery Timing: Unfortunately, there was a 30-minute delay, which caused a rush in setup. Cutlery: Individually packed with serviettes – very hygienic. Serving Utensils: Good quality, black-coloured gear. Disposable Trays: Sturdy and solid black trays – not flimsy or prone to bending. ✅ Overall Experience Despite some hiccups, this was a decent first experience. The food arrived hot, and the packaging was impressive. Although the delay and a few dishes were disappointing, I’m still open to ordering again.
