Tried this caterer but probably won't have it on rotation as fried items appear more frequently compared to the other caterers

First time order with this this co. Food delivered was on time and enough for 4 people. Rice portion was quite big. Quite disappointing with the food ordered. Taste bland and not even once the dish with sambal. Got 2 same kind of veges within the 5 days meal.

The taste of the food was kind of average with many ingredients being repeated for the following day with some slight changes to style of cooking. The style of cooking was very ordinary. Not so satisfied with the service too as they did not send me the 2 pax of rice on the 1st day, the person I communicated with apologized and told me that I will be refunded for the rice which he quoted as $1.80 for 2 pax but the website quoted as a dollar each for a portion of rice. But anyway, it's not even about $1.80 or $2 but the inconvenience caused because without the rice as the staple, I have to think about finding other ways to complement with the dishes which takes up my time unecessarily as I was preparing to go to work soon. In any case, I have not received the $ as refund haha, a better option would be for the vendor to provide an extra day meal as compensation due to the inconvenience caused.

I would not recommend this tingkat service to anyone. My experience has been consistently poor, primarily due to the appalling quality of the food.

The photos speak for themselves. The food quality is bottom-tier:

Canned Sardines: One of the "mains" was literally just sardines in tomato sauce straight from a tin. This is lazy and lacks any nutritional effort or culinary skill.

Processed Sides: The fried fish cakes/nuggets were oily and looked unappetizingly mass-produced.

Bland Vegetables: The cabbage and soup were watery and lacked any real flavor or freshness.

For the price charged, I expected actual home-cooked meals, not canned food and processed snacks. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Food was decent, it wasnt anything special, could be better, abit bland.

2nd ting kat vendor we tried. So, cant really tell...

But it was pretty obvious low price, low priced ingredients.

Trial for 2 days , the 1st day came with the soup all leaked. Bento was blunt. 2nd order came with glass noodles. cheese tofu, veg & some sliced chicken.

Rice used to be more. Now lesser. Delivery timing getting later than usual. Not satisfied for this round.

With the price paid, expected higher quality of foods however disappointment. Plenty of processed foods. Veg dishes non appealing and don't taste good.

Food was generally acceptable in taste but we found it quite average in quality compared to the price point. Service and delivery were smooth. Overall, we felt it lacked the value for money we were hoping for.

The food is not good, the eggs are terrible like spring onion eggs, canned tomato beans on scramble eggs, cabbage half raw, some dishes are completely flavorless, a lots of repeating dish, like hotdog. The dishes not suitable for elderly. Compared with my previous Tingkat, these 20 days are really bad.
