Reliable Tingkat service with great variety

Reviewed 3 weeks ago Verified Purchase

I have been ordering Tingkat meals through FoodLine, and overall, the experience has been fantastic! The platform makes it super easy to browse, compare caterers, and manage weekly renewals. The food delivery is always punctual, and the dishes ... More arrive warm, hygienic, and neatly packed in tingkat containers.

The taste and portion sizes are generally very satisfying—home-cooked comfort food at its best, with a good rotation of vegetables, soups, and proteins that keep meals interesting without feeling repetitive.

One little tip for future orders:
If your menu features the curry chicken, I would recommend requesting a switch from drumsticks to chicken wings if possible. While the curry gravy itself is rich, fragrant, and thick, the meat of a drumstick can sometimes be a bit too dense for the flavors to fully infuse inside. Switching to wings allows the delicious curry taste to soak right through the meat much better!

Other than that minor preference, everything else has been wonderful. Highly recommend FoodLine if you're looking for a hassle-free, dependable Tingkat solution for the family.

Food Quality: 4/5

The food was consistently good throughout the Tingkat subscription. Dishes were tasty, well-seasoned, and offered nice daily variety with generous portion sizes.

Delivery & Service: 2/5

While delivery was mostly punctual ... More during the routine days, they dropped the ball on the last day. The food arrived extremely late, which disrupted our entire dinner schedule.

Overall:

Good food overall, but the final-day delay was disappointing. The caterer really needs to work on consistent delivery timing right up to the end of the contract.

Flavorful dishes with excellent variety

Reviewed on 27th May 2026 Verified Purchase

Very impressed with the menu rotation! Every evening feels like a nice surprise because the dishes don't just repeat constantly like other caterers we've tried. The meats are tender, the veggies aren't overcooked, and the soup is always comforting. ... More It really satisfies that craving for a wholesome, comforting meal after a long day at work.

I have been a repeat customer for this tingkat service because they truly excel at variety. What impresses me most is that the dishes change every single day; I’ve stayed with them for multiple cycles and never encountered a repeating dish, which ... More keeps dinner exciting and never boring.

The quality is consistently high, and the food always tastes fresh and home-cooked rather than mass-produced. The ordering process through FoodLine is seamless, making renewals a breeze. If you are looking for a reliable caterer that offers a diverse, non-repetitive menu with great taste, I highly recommend giving them a try!"

Extremely Disappointed

Reviewed on 27th Feb 2026 Verified Purchase

I would not recommend this tingkat service to anyone. My experience has been consistently poor, primarily due to the appalling quality of the food.

The photos speak for themselves. The food quality is bottom-tier:

Canned Sardines: One of the ... More "mains" was literally just sardines in tomato sauce straight from a tin. This is lazy and lacks any nutritional effort or culinary skill.

Processed Sides: The fried fish cakes/nuggets were oily and looked unappetizingly mass-produced.

Bland Vegetables: The cabbage and soup were watery and lacked any real flavor or freshness.

For the price charged, I expected actual home-cooked meals, not canned food and processed snacks. Save your money and look elsewhere.
