Fong Fu Food Catering

Great value for the quality of food provided. The menu is quite well planned, so we do not have repeated dishes too often. Most of the time, my family enjoyed the cooking. Unfortunately, there is no catering on Public Holidays, Saturday and Sunday so it results in a "gap" in catering supply. One thing I'm thankful is that they are one of the few caterers who are flexible to deliver to town area within ERP.

One of the day the tingkat didn't arrive, called many times nobody answer. Should have alternative no. To call in case of such incidents. The next day I was told my new cycle of tingkat will start on 20th & it was not updated in the system although earlier I've called to change the date to 14th instead. Weird as I received the tingkat on 14th & no catering on 15th. Obviously, a missed out.

A bit screwed up this cycle as another day my 3 dishes, 1 soup was changed to 4 dishes. Very disappointed that the soup is just replaced by nuggets without prior notice. The delivery guy just told me there's no soup that day. The potatoes doesn't come with Minced meat as per menu either. End up it was due to he passed mine to another customer.

Another day supposed to be pig's stomach soup according to the menu, but change to bitter gourd soup.

The food delivery time was getting earlier and earlier. Now it normally comes before 3pm sometimes as early as 2.30 pm. By the time we eat it as dinner the food is not very fresh. There was a day when the tofu with beansprout turned a bit sour. So nowadays, we keep the food in the fridge once it comes and reheat it at the dinner time. Another comment is that, the menu on the web is for 3 dish +1 soup. The veg is stated as seasonal. Since we order 4 dish instead of 3 + 1 soup, we can only see two dishes in the daily menu on the web. We can't tell beforehand what veg and what 4th dish will be for the day. Also, sometimes there seems to be changes to the menu. For instance, on 8/4, it was to be Char Kway Tiao, but it turned out to be Hong Kong style fried noodle. The noodle that day was quite dry and not very tasty. This is the dish that we dislike the most. In spite of the above comments, we think the food and service are generally good, and so we still continue our order.

First day of food delivery was quite late. It came after 7pm. I should be among the last few of the delivery slot. subsequent days came about 6pm that was quite good. Last day of the food, the dish that come with mushroom smell a bit sour like not fresh or spoil, the vegetable also a bit old and hard to eat.
But overall the food is ok.

The price is one of the most affordable among the catering companies.
Food standard isn't consistent, sometimes the food is super bland, other times the food is flavorful. Food delivery timing also varies... my earliest food delivery at 10am while the latest food delivery and reach past to 1pm.

Good dishes includes braised chicken/pork, curry vegatables, curry chicken, meatball.

Soups are pretty bland even for my senior folks at home.

Good tingkat that I would recommend to my friends if they are looking for fuss free and affordable meals. Had been trying tingkat for past 6 months and I found Fong Fu one of the more tasty and value for money one.

I ordered for 3 pax and The food portion is enough for 3 adults and 2 kids. Few hits and misses. But taste is ok. They have fried noodles or rice every Wednesday.

Food was OK and reasonable price. Though not likely you'll order again. They have different menu but the way it is cooked needs to be a bit creative to entice appetite.

Food and service is ok except the delivery time is too early. It was delivered between 2:30 to 3:30pm, that's too early for dinner.
We need to heat them up for dinner which is a hassle. But understand that due to massive orders and our house is nearer to the caterer.
