Ordered coconut rice, nonya chicken, oven baked fillet, codfish bites and chocolate tart. All is not bad. Variety is different from usual caterer. Worth a try

Unique dishes, great taste, and good packaging.

It was a pleasant experience. Almost all the dishes had positive feedback from the guests. Food portion was sufficient with minimal wastage, and setup was pleasant and professional. Aven, who was in charged of setting up, was friendly and very helpful.

Slightly disappointed with the Nonya grilled chicken with lemongrass, as the chicken turned out to be a little overcooked.

The Honey Red Tea was refreshing but was without the fresh lemongrass as stated, and did not have any lemongrass taste.

But overall it was a pleasant experience and I would be happy to order from Grain again.

The delivery specialist arrived at 5pm and everything is ready by 5.45pm. Most guests had arrived. Thank you for being punctual.
Food is good, and a number of guests took 2nd serving.

The food is very little. Catered for 30pax. My guests did not even dare to take full portion. Guests for arrived later did not have sufficient (curry chicken and tofu fish were finished). Refer to the pic attached for the minimal portions. It was an awkward event. Hope caterer can be more generous as such thing really spoiled the event mood.

Set up was on time and efficient. Quality of food is good as well. Love the BBQ Chicken Satay and the satay sauce, its fragrant and received a lot of likes from our guests. The dish that is less popular is the Turkey Bacon Potato Hash as the whole dish is filled with lots of onions. Overall, good experience with Grains. Very professional. Will order from them again.

Booking and payment was efficient and simple with caterer getting back to me the next day.
Delivery came early and setup the event 15mins before the scheduled timing.
Food quality was really good. All my guest felt this was something different from the usual buffet fare. Amount provided was more than sufficient as I had ordered 35 pax portion for 40pax guest and i had at least 20% leftover.

However one bad point to note was that the caterer had to collect back everything within max 2.5hrs after i tried to request for a 30mins extension. Thus guests might have limited time as some had arrived late and any time further extentsion was chargeable.

Grain provides somewhat gourmet catering food at an affordable price. The buffet spread was wholesome, healthy and refreshing as compared to the other menus of a similar price point. Not only do they look delicious, they taste delicious too! The Oven Baked Sutchi fillet and Codfish Tofu bites were very popular. Lemon Iced Tea was refreshing and was highly praised by many of our colleagues. There's usually a lot of leftover mains but the Linguine Aglio Olio that we ordered was almost finished by the end of the buffet, it also complemented well with the Oven Baked Sutchi Fillet.

The whole set up was minimalistic. Cutlery given were biodegradable and environmentally friendly - which is a bonus for us too as it looks classy!

Delivery specialist are well mannered and very helpful, while providing suggestions on the set up. Support staff are also very friendly and helpful, replying patiently and promptly to requests and queries.
