Food was really good! Menu is also very different from the other caterers. My guests were all very happy with the dishes! Portions were also adequate.

"Ratatouille Niçoise" was the best dish among the catered dishes. It was flavourful and tender to bite.
"Black Olive Fried Rice" was normal and slightly on the drier side.
"Roasted Vegetable Salad" could be slightly seasoned.
"Herb-Roasted Chicken" was a little tough while the corn bits and edamame had a nice crunch to the texture.
"Oven-Baked Sutchi Fillet" was tender and creamy.
"Codfish Tofu Bites" had bits of bones.
"Assorted French Pastries" were fluffy and light, but 30pcs is extremely little for 25 pax.
"Lemongrass Bandung" was light and not too sweet.

The caterer was very prompt in their responses from the beginning when I submitted the order. My guests were impressed with the buffet layout and the quality of the food. Despite reading some reviews that the portion were only just right, we actually had a fair bit of leftovers as the portions were pretty generous in fact. Definitely recommending to friends!

Steamed Har Gow, Mini Spinach and Feta Quiche, Mini Lemon Curd Tart are really good choices. Har Gow was fresh, Mini Spinach and Feta Quiche savoury and Mini Lemon Curd Tart hard to resist!
Only the Buffalo Chicken Drumlets were too salty and Shrimp and Glass Noodle Spring Roll a little soggy. Overall set up was tastefully done and classy - will definitely order again.

Prior to the event, the account manager got in touch and was helpful and prompt in addressing my queries.

The set-up and decorations were minimalistic and elegant. Also a reason for this could be because I specifically chose food that did not require heating. Many of our guests were impressed by the set up and commented the food looks beautiful and nice. Even the cutlery (paper plates, cups, forks) were made of environmentally friendly material. The little acrylic blocks describing each food option looked very professional. There was a hiccup with the delivery man being unable to reach the contact person at the venue and i had to reprovide the details, but it was sorted out easily.

The food were healthy, yet delicious. I managed to changed the egg finger sandwich to egg croissants after liaising with the account manager. The only dish I felt was lacking was the Chicken Coriander Finger Sandwich, which felt like just 2 slices of bread stuck between very very very thin threads of chicken. Other than that, all the other food options were amazing, in particular the quiche, the egg croissant, and Marble Potato Salad. Desserts all tasted nice, lemon curd tart could however be quite subjective.

The coffee and tea were superb, which is very important for the audience that we cater to. The coffee was freshly brewed, and the tea was English Breakfast tea. What would have been even better is if we had fresh milk instead of creamers.

One thing the caterer could provide would be take away boxes. We had some leftover food but did not have any boxes so we had to stuff them all on the plate when the staff came for collection.

Overall, it was a great experience with Grain for us as a host, and for our guests!

Overall setup was beautifully executed. Guest were happy with the menu options. Drinks option can provide alittle more as quantity was insufficient

Loved the dishes because they were not too salty like other catered food. The wild mushroom capellini was a huge winner, not dry and very tasty! We also loved the codfish tofu bites and that finished very quickly as well. Hainanese chicken came with dark sauce, chilli and ginger and all tasted true to its dish, although it was made with only chicken breast meat. I suppose that's where its healthy, although we would have loved other parts as well like the wings and thighs. Fruits were a good assortment and were freshly cut. All food came very punctually in a warmer bag and was the perfect temperature for my guests. Disposable cutlery were eco friendly and made me feel better about consuming them, although they had massive amounts of cling wrap which I felt defeated the purpose of trying to be all sustainable! Would definitely order from Grain again!

Awesome food! Guest were full of praises with the food. Interesting change from the usual chinese dishes. Good that was vegetarian options too as I had vegetarian guest. However, the drink was not quite sufficient.

Caterer tends to deliver the food earlier than stipulated time. However, after speaking to the 2 gentlemen who came to set up the buffet, they decided to delay the set up slightly later in order to ensure the food will be warm till 3 hours later. Food in general is good and service is indeed excellent.

Food came right on time for my event. Was a little anxious as my guests have arrived, but at least food was still warm. Most of my guests liked the food and they noted the environmentally friendly cutlery used. On hindsight would not order the Herb-Roasted Chicken with edamame and corn ragù and
Oven-Baked Sutchi Fillet with caper butter sauce at same time as both have creamy sauce.
