Many of our guests were impressed by the set up and commented the food looks beautiful and nice. Even the cutlery (paper plates, cups, forks) were made of environmentally friendly material. The little acrylic blocks describing each food option looked very professional. There was a hiccup with the delivery man being unable to reach the contact person at the venue and i had to reprovide the details, but it was sorted out easily. The food were healthy, yet delicious. I managed to changed the egg finger sandwich to egg croissants after liaising with the account manager. The only dish I felt was lacking was the Chicken Coriander Finger Sandwich, which felt like just 2 slices of bread stuck between very very very thin threads of chicken. Other than that, all the other food options were amazing, in particular the quiche, the egg croissant, and Marble Potato Salad. Desserts all tasted nice, lemon curd tart could however be quite subjective. The coffee and tea were superb, which is very important for the audience that we cater to. The coffee was freshly brewed, and the tea was English Breakfast tea. What would have been even better is if we had fresh milk instead of creamers. One thing the caterer could provide would be take away boxes. We had some leftover food but did not have any boxes so we had to stuff them all on the plate when the staff came for collection. Overall, it was a great experience with Grain for us as a host, and for our guests!
