Hewtop Catering Pte Ltd

I ordered Hew top, but the tingkat is from Kim's catering. Maybe is their sister company but I think it is really unprofessional and didn't bother to inform but fortunately I just have a trial and the food is quite bad. As the pictures above, the souo just tied it and not sealed. It is sealed in the tub for day 1, but day 2 onwards they just simply lazy to do it. The fish as pic above was spoiled, smelly and I threw it away. Won't even want to try it.

At the beginning, food items were alright. Then the standard goes downwards day by day. Vegetables dish did not make the mark. In one of the days, the vegetables dish tasted sour and had to be thrown away. One of the fish dishes (in the photo) was pale red. For the soup, in the first few days, it was in a container but after that, it was in a meal bag. I assume the caterer wanted to prevent spillage. Not sure if the soup portion became smaller after that. It did not fill up about half of my 1L pot as compared to when it was in a container.

Other food items are ok for the price.

Ordered dinner for 4 paxs. Food portions were small and each bowl of soup was only slightly more than half filled. Taste of dishes were also not to my family's liking. On our last day of order, delivery staff sent the wrong order. Instead of 3 dishes + soup, we were given 4 dishes.

Overall the food was acceptable. Have been ordering for quite sometime. The quantity has been reduced as compared with previous orders. Not sure if its food cost that is going up. The assam fish was not fresh. It very lumpy and super soft.

Although I admit their price is very low, food served is equally of low quality too.

Sadly, some members of the family sometimes decided not to eat!

Food normally delivered about 4pm. There was a day I was informed no delivery at 7PM!! I understand that sometimes there might be some unforeseen circumstances but they (caterer) could have informed me earlier as I was waiting for the food and no one reply to my messages/calls when I was trying to reach out to them.

The food is average, the rice is of generous amount. Monthly menu tends to have a few days of bittergourd dishes, includes soup. Not all are a fan of bittergourd.

Rice is sometime of abundance. Food quality varies, sometimes like pig trotters lots of fat and no meat.

Didn't like this catering unfortunately, can do better for a little pricier options. The food were mostly tasted bland and lack flavors

The meals came late and everytime the vege dish will smell bad and totally not fresh and cannot eat at all, i had throw for many dishes and just wasted.

I had remarks no spicy when place the order, but its will came with spicy and chilli dishes for few times, and i had to throw away again.

Totally not recommend.
