Generally average. Menu is quite standard. Would prefer less salt; processed food and fried items.

Food was average and below average at times. Delivery for dinner is quite early, reach at 3 plus. Expect to see processed food like luncheon meat.

Food to be consumed by 6.30pm but reach my doorstep just before 7 pm. The veggies got smells, the food in general killed my hubby appetite.

Would be better if there are lesser processed food.

Overall food is simple, taste wise, isn't too bland. Been with them almost a year now (just lazy from switching). Except for the occasional prawn, not super alot of 'better' ingredients (fish nuggets doesn't count). Menu getting 'slightly' better, with the occasional fish, but there is also an increase in sausages.

A little disappointed with the food as indicated 'no pork' & reminded the staff, yet pork item still sent to us.

Was quite disappointed on the first day of the food because my whole family except for my son who cannot eat spicy had diarrhea after eating the rendang chicken (see the attached photo). Called the customer service and the lady did apologize and promise d to compensate one additional day for us. We agreed but later the food was not delivered on the additional day itself and it ruined my dinner time. Called the customer service again and another lady mentioned it did not pass thru the system to inform the kitchen to prepare but there was a note to mention. This is totally screwed up. Food quality is really so so. Food portion is OK.

Also if you select 4 dishes, most of the time (if not all) the 4th dish is not a real 'cooked' dish. Just some fried/fast food - think nuggets, spring roll, sausage.

Delivery was smooth and food was well-packaged. The quality of the food could be better as some dishes were not very well cooked. It did not taste home made. It was dinner delivery but it was delivered at 3pm, which was too early for us.

Was with Ronnie Kitchen before going over to Hew Top, since we thought of going for a change and try something new. HT is cheaper by around $40, but I would say you get what you pay for. In comparison with RK, HT's dishes are smaller in portion and slightly lacking in presentation. The delivery timing is also rather inconsistent. Due to these factors, we went to RK to the following cycle.
