Hock Hoe Heng Catering

The food is nice but they give me 1 of the items wrongly. I have ordered 1 chicken 1 fish but they give 2 fish, they compensate by give me 10% for next order on their website - thank you! The invoice indicated 2 fish but I didn't notice it. The pork with yam also don't have & replaced another type - they informed me. I actually choose it cos this is something other caterers do not offer. They do not provide any disposable tongs or table plastic sheet, we bought them ourselves.

Will order again next time.

Affordable mini buffet with satisfactory food. Though the duck was hard and the vegetable was overcooked, the rest of the dishes tasted alright. Pineapple fried rice was surprisingly good. Paper plates provided was small and only a thong and big spoon was provided for the 8 dishes. Delivery came 1 hour earlier than the time requested. Overall a pleasant experience and will definitely order again from this caterer.

Dishes were good. Booked this for the Hakka ribs + yam, unfortunately was informed the day before that it is unavailable and offered a replacement of preserved veg pork belly. It was good just wished the yam was available

Suggest caterer to provide large plates too. The small plates were insufficient for the food we had

A bit disappointed as compared to the other set that I ordered from another caterer. The portions for vege, prawns and Yu Sheng are pretty small.

We hired Hock Hoe Heng Catering through Foodline for our Chinese New Year home gathering, expecting high-quality food and professional service.

The food arrived warm and well-sealed in containers, ensuring freshness. The main courses were flavourful , with the Teriyaki Grilled Chicken standing out as a favourite. The Salad Pork Floss Prawn was an absolute highlight—everyone raved about how delicious it was!

Despite it being a public holiday, the staff arrived on time, demonstrating their professionalism and reliability.

Food arrived on time. They did not provide dinner plates. The veggies should be cut smaller for easy serving. Amount of food provided is just just nice for the number of people catering.
My guests enjoyed the grilled teriyaki chicken and Teochew crispy prawn roll.

I was appalled and deeply disappointed by the quantity and quality of food served. We ordered for 20pax. The only thing that’d fill up our guests would be the pineapple fried rice (2trays) which may look like pineapple fried rice but tasted nothing like what you’d expect. Most of the dishes were processed deep fried food, served cold. Imagine how that’d taste? What’s even more surprising was that there were leftovers even with such pathetic quantity. Let’s not even talk about 2nd rounds cos there’d be insufficient for 2nd rounds, but it looked so unappetising that some guests didn’t even bother with trying some of the dishes! Rather than order from them, just buy frozen food and air/deep fry it yourself!

The food was delivered within the stipulated time, however the delivery came w/o trash bag, common tongs, ladle and scoop to serve the guests. Portions were smaller than expected for 10pax. Overall experience was negative for a caterer that established since 1978.

The price is reasonable and a good portion. It would be better to lower the price next year. Thank You.

Except for the pineapple rice, the remaining dishes were disappointing as they were cold and the portion especially
the yu sheng was meagre - more for 10 pax instead of 15 pax which we ordered. Generally, the food is not befitting a proper festive meal. I must add this is the worst dining experience my family considering we have been the restaurant's customer for past three years.
