Completed two cycles of 10 days Tingkat Dinner with this same caterer. Decided to try for another 10 days. Overall the food was good. The food portion are reasonable. One adverse comment is that the Fish dish is always the same type of Fish. Need to consider different types. On the whole, Good quality of food. The food is delivered daily consistently on time. Will renew for another 20 days.

Great food with Liang Teh

I've had a great experience with Jiak Ba Catering. The food is really good, but what makes them stand out is the thoughtful addition of Liang teh on Tuesdays and Fridays. It's a fantastic, unique touch that I always look forward to!

Decent tingkat dinner

Food arrived just in time for dinner and we did not have to reheat the food. Dishes were flavourful although portion was abit small for 2 pax. They had variety of soup each day which was fantastic. On of the days, a meat dish was replaced with vegetables/mushrooms as we opted for non-seafood and they removed the shrimps from the dish. Overall, still decent for a proper meal.

Value for money (quality/portion) for lunch tingkat catering

First time ordering from them. Had change out a few caterer due to the quality of the food. Happen to chance upon Jiak Ba and gave it a try,

Food was good, portion was also more than a lot of other caterers given the same price tag. Delivery was on time except for Fridays where they will be later.

There were not a lot of caterers doing lunch for the northern region. I will recommend to try out Jiak Ba if you are also struggling to find a decent one. I have continued my next order with them.

Food generally is healthy

Food in general is healthy but some dishes could have more flavour. Green vegetable dishes mostly repeats the next couple of days. Would be good to give more vegetable variety like long beans, gourds for a change. Some items served don't really give value for the money and below expectation. Delivery time last round has been a little irregular.

Good comfort food and would recommend

The food overall was as close to comfort food and would recommend to others. The pork belly can be leaner and the tau kee dish can be given slightly more for 2 person option. Overall packing can also be improved as occasionally the exterior of the packing boxes can be quite oily.

Good Lunch Tingkat for Easties!

One of the few caterers that deliver lunch to my area. Food was all good with nice variety over the week. My family enjoyed the meals especially the daily soup which changes every day. Flavor-wise is just right though some dishes were a little oily. The tingkat meals came well packed but my dinner was delivered in the early afternoon. However, it was easy to reheat with the microwave. Portions were also sufficient for 2 pax. Good value overall!
