Serving is small
The serving is quite small for 25pax, need to top up with additional dishes. Taste is ok.

Good food, lovely set up
Food was good. All the items were tasty, not too sweet nor salty. There is no item that we did not like. The yam paste was good except that it was not thawed earlier and item was still thick & cold and difficult to take. Had to wait for the warmer to heat up and food is slightly warm then we could consume. Overall very good. Sorry I don't know how to download the few photos from my handphone

Decent food with great service
Overall, the food is decent but not especially tasty. Delivery man missed out giving the sweet sauce for the Ngoh Hiang

Fast delivery and satisfactory quality of food
Delivery was very prompt, arrived early and was ready an hour before actual time.
Nice setup, delivery staff polite.

They had never fail to impress us with the excellent food quality and quantity. Dishes were great and the guest enjoyed then to the max.
As compared to last year, their internal process had greatly improved. Last year was my first time ordering with them and the driver was very late due to traffic jam. I was nervous as the guests had arrived and I could not contact the driver as I do not have any contact details.
However, Makan Mate had improvised this issue by providing the driver contact details the day before and even called to follow up.
I am really satisfied not just the food but most importantly is the quality of their customer service level. This year the driver was very punctual :)
For the set up, I would still prefer it be a “red color” for the table cloth and skirting like last year. It has more CNY atmosphere as compared to “white creamy color”.
