Makan Mate

The food was good and not salty and the dessert was great.

Food is nice but a bit cold.

The staples were delicious and generous. Not many caterers that I checked provided Hokkien seafood noodles as a staple so it was a nice surprise. Curry chicken and the beancurd with enoki was nice as well.

This is the first time I have ordered from Makan Mate. I was very impressed with the buffet table display. It was very nicely done with a bouquet of flowers and name of very dish was displayed. The cutlery was also laid out very nicely. Food quality was good. Especially to mention is the Chicken curry and Hokkien noodles. The portion provided especially the Hokkien noodles and Kampong fried rice was very generous.
Only set back was the delivery of the food was about half an hour later than my planned commencement time although they have earlier set up table earlier.

Right choice of caterer! Our first time order from makan mate and absolutely best we've engaged thus far! Fantastic and friendly delivery man and service, great customer service from vignette who has been corresponding with us through mail and phone calls. We all love the food and nice set up. Will definitely engage you again for our next buffet gathering. Well done and keep up your great job!

Nice food. Good service. Big scoops and ladles were provided and taking of food is easier.

Delivery came in time for guests. Food was delicious but portions could have been better. The Fish Otak was really tiny (about 2 inches each). There’s only 26 pcs for an order for 25pax (min. order). Same situation with the steamed scallops. Can’t limit our guests to 1 pc each right? Even though there’s only 21 of us, the food cleared out completely. I think some of my guests didn’t have their fill. Care should be taken during collection. Staff folded up table with liquid spills on it which ended up on the floor. Had to mop several times to get rid of stickiness...

They came late but luckily my guest are arrived yet. The food was great. Worth the money.
