Makan Mate

Buffet was delivered timely and setup with orchids-in-vase looked pleasant. Food was great at reasonable pricing. Must commend the service was friendly both delivery and collection at end of buffet. Thanks.

Overall the food are not that fantastic.
We don't like the baked boneless chicken with BBQ sauce because the taste like it is raw.
The sambal prawn are not fresh.
Thai Pineapple Fried Rice no taste at all.

One of the cheapest buffet you can find for 25pax halal. Overall it's cheap and good for the price we paid. The best dish is curry chicken. All dishes are flavorful. Ordered fruit punch drink but it was very sweet, we still have 3/4 left after the party is over.

Set up was timely and efficiently done.

The delivery guy are so helpful and polite. Good service

The food was delcious and piping hot. Good value for money. If fried veg. spring rolls were crispy, that would be perfect!

Mee siam was good, everyone loved the food! However, maybe due to the hot weather, the dessert which is grass jelly with longan turned bad. But would order again if have event that require halal diet.

Guests are very pleased with the food.

This is our first order to Makan Mate.
Generally speaking, the foods we catered not so satisfactory being:
1. The drink does not have ice cube.
2. The Chilled Cheng Tng also don't have ice cube.
3. Sze Chuan Fish Fillet TOO SALTY!
4. Curry Chicken taste need to improve! Not tasty as we experienced
before.

There are more room for improvement...

The delivery was 2hours earlier than than expected time,7pm. I have to reheat the food as it was cold.

I like the whole set as we did not need to wash and all utensils are provided. they even provided the rubbish bag for us to throw.
food was good but the fish was not fully cooked.

A suggestion:to provide a disposable table cloth.
