Tried this catering because of the good reviews. Turns out to be disappointing. Some days food was just average. Other days can be quite bad. Some dishes were even very salty. Although this is one of the cheaper options but you can get better value elsewhere

Food came too early (event at 11am but food came at 945am and hence expired too early).
Food quantify was insufficient

Indicate be ready by 12pm. Invoice stated delivery arrival 1130-1145am. End up reach at 1230pm.

Make all my guest wait. 3rd or 4th time ordering from robert but this time very dissapointing. No call / text or notice to inform will be late, just waiting endlessly not even sure if they remember our order. Not worth the emotional stress, at least bother to drop us a call and let us know know will be late.

WILL NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN, BLACKLIST ROBERT CATERING

Overall presention still ok, but for food slightly above average. Robert Catering has agreed on the change some of the food item menu but ended didn't follow for one of the dishes.

E.g. I have requested for "Oven Baked Honey Chicken", instead of Honey Drumlets (which is harder to eat / bite for young kids), but ended up Caterer just ignored and delivered Honey drumlets instead. When questioned via Foodline whatsapp, Caterer replied that "their oven baked honey chicken and honey drumlet is same thing, unless customer put remark on which chicken part they want, if not they will give all drumlet"?? Then why is it that when I raised my request via whatsapp earlier, Vendor said ok to change with no charge, but did not highlight the above?

I feel that this part is rather unacceptable services.

Food not up to satisfaction. Delivery is early before the time that is good , food portion is large

Quantity for 20 pax is reasonable and vendor brought down the items for self collection. Food wise, the rice and veg and hei Zou can be improved. Prawn is not bad. Packet orange drinks are given. Would be good if can choose curry as a dish.

Delivery and service is excellent.
Previously we ordered for xmas buffet and the food was excellent hence back to order again for my baby birthday party. However the taste of the food was disappointing.

Every guests commented that laksa and curry chicken were too tasteless. Lemon Fish was bad too. Vegetarian beehoon & golden beancurd was okay.

Food was delivered early. Food was quite little. Everyday was almost the same food (chicken). Food was delivered when asked to postpone but caterer extended it.

The food came late as expected time, been order for table and stool, but the food came without table and stool, got to called and waited for another 1hr for the table and stool to be delivered, and all my guests was already there. Food portion is small too.

Average food, taste wise on the healthier side. Not to our liking though. A little under portion for certain days.
