Spark and Flame Catering (The Flame Cafe N Spark Restaurant)

The food was surprisingly really good and affordable. Definitely worth it if you have a big crowd. Ordered for 120 pax but the food they provided can feed up to 130 at least! We had a lot of left over prawns and meetaimak that my guest managed to takeaway!

The cauliflower was really a hit and miss item and was quite tasteless but some older folks find that it’s ok because it wasn’t so salty. The curry chicken is definitely 100% good because it was a total sellout on that day!

Meetaimak was a mixed of comments from people but many told me they really like it and I had a lot of people opting to takeaway the leftover meetaimak.

Items provided is definitely more than the pax and I honestly surprised that it’s really quite tasty. Had recommended some of my friends who asked for which caterer it was!

The disappointment was the chilled honeydew sago and the Baked Fish. Many of my guests have feedback that they cannot find any honeydew or sago. It was all sweet water. The baked fish was also too salty for many.

Other than that, the rest of the food was alright, and the share (quantity) was good.

The staffs that set up and collected the food were very patience and friendly. Good job to them.

Yes, I will still order from them again for my next event and will try other food instead.

Most of the fried foods are dry and very starchy (only flour inside)
Chicken Curry with Potatoes - doesn't have much potatoes and very watery. Taste nice though.
Broccoli/ cauliflower with mushroom - bland

The food catering came early(30mins bfr the booking timing), he was nice and kindly assisted in setting up 美美(pretty pretty) for us!

Food portion was sufficient and tasty as usual. Been ordering from them since last year and salesperson has been very helpful.

This was my 2nd times ordering from this caterer. The portion of the food is reasonable and the food is delicious too. Their sale person and driver are very helpful and able to accommodate my request. Will order again for the next event.

More different variety of food selection will open up more opportunities for caterer. The food is good enough for normal consumption though.

Food selection and taste was great. Loved the baked fish (tender and sauce was creamy and tasty) and cereal prawns. Portion given was extravagant - ordered for 50 pax and more than half were left over even with second and third helpings. Received positive feedback from our guests on the taste, setup and variety of food. Service was impeccable from ordering to delivery and post-event collection. Setup was done up very nicely by the team (they took their time and there was no rush) and they also acceded to our request to extend collection time. Only one minor improvement point would be that more plates, cups , napkins and cutlery could be provided as these ran out pretty fast - noted that there were quite limited quantities of each to begin with.

Complimentary from all staffs that the food is very nice except the fish sauce is very salty. The rest is ok

I like their service as they setup everything as per my request. Overall the food is nice especially the shrimp dumplings and curry chicken.
