Spark and Flame Catering (The Flame Cafe N Spark Restaurant)

Food came on time as per schedule but the food quality was average and the portion was little and definitely not enough to cater for my 50 pax guests! I started my party at 12:40pm and by 1pm all the finger food (siew mai, chicken rolls, scallop), veggies and fish all gone. You can refer to my video. Just to clarify that only half of my guests arrived by 1pm and some guests couldn’t make it.

Called them and they said they catered enough for all the guests. What they meant by enough is 1 guest only can take 1 finger food and 1 slice of fish each! Am I supposed to tell my guests that they can’t take more than 1?! They only provided half a tray for all finger food when all these dishes were part of the mains.

Lemon chicken too dry. Will not recommend this caterer!

The deliverer was really friendly and put in a lot of effort to help beautify the catering, really thankful for his efforts! The food was really good and I think our guests really enjoyed the Chinese cuisine too! Highly recommend!

Food was nice, my favourites are the sin chow bee hoon, curry chicken and sambal prawns. However the samosa was too little.

Over all the food is good but just that is not hot enough . They also came late to set up. The rice left over a lot cos many people say that is too dry. The cream puff is nice. The siew mai is also nice.

Food so so. No chilli sauce provided. Desert - hardly any chin chow in it. Could be better overall but not.

1st time ordering from this catering. Food is nice. Curry is the best. Will order again and recommend to friends.

All dishes is extremely good taste and quality is equivalent to hotel standard. All of the family members and guest is extremely enjoyed with the food. Definitely 200% will order again for any festive or celebration season. Price is very affordable compare to many other big brands.

The fried rice is too dry that we couldn't eat. 2 trays were wasted. Curry is good but will be good if more curry given..

Overall food is ok. Delivery was on time too.

I chose the time slot of 11am to 12 noon. The food was delivered at exactly 11am, we're impressed with the prompt service!

The food was flavourful with many varieties and generous portions to cater to more. We all enjoyed the food!

Had a very pleasant experience speaking to the senior catering executive, Bryan Lee, prior to the event. He was very professional, patient and accommodating. On event day, the food arrived much earlier at around 5.30pm (we planned to have reunion dinner around 6.30pm), and they were already cold when they arrived. Apart from the fish, chicken and vege, the rest of the dishes were very much to our disappointment. Honey cake was extremely sweet .. those who tried a bite had to end up throwing away, and we had to discard at least 3/4 of the tray. This was our first time ordering from this caterer and will likely be our last.
